I agree. Most of these left wingers are far more racist than the righties they accuse of racism. :ssst:

Indeed. Racism and sexism. Only someone who felt certain peoples weren't capable of standing on their own would constantly fight for efforts to give them special privileges. I seriously see many people's efforts to "help" minorities akin to assisting the special needs children. Whereas the rest of us don't think minorities are special needs children at all, and are actually just as capable as everyone else. But feeling that minorities are equal is apparently ... racist [and sexist]. Go figure. ROFL

Chicken little politics screeching "Racism" at any and everything you can...

How is it racist?

Digsbe? Seriously? Stop it, your embarrassing yourself.

It's called being don quixote and chasing windmills, though in your case its not that innocent, its a smear tactic mouth foamers use to attack those who do not support the policies of this president. It's childish, shameful, and low class....

I mean really, if some of you who have called me a racist, knew me, you surely would feel as foolish as you all look.

you have made it official. you insist you cannot see the obvious, even when the title of the thread contains the word "racism"

I remember when I took the NYPD test, I scored 98% on it and told because I wasn't black or a woman, I had not place for me in Dinkins rainbow force.

A buddy of mine who also took the test scored in the high 90's as well and was hired because he was black.... After discovering he only had to score a 40% as a black man to be hired, he declined joining citing not wanting to trust some dumbass with his back......

He's a state trooper these days.

Nice non reply.
Serious question here for the Rev or anyone else. Not kidding, though it will seem like I am. I'm serious, it is only the answer that will result in laughter.

Has justbubba ever been spotted in the vicinity of an actual conversation/debate or is it all trolling/goading/baiting all the time? I've never seen anything but ankle biting from him and was wondering, quite seriously, has he ever dared debate or argued an actual topic that would require more than a brain dead one or two liner that wilts upon delivery?

Someone got a link? Anyone? Bueller, anyone?

I won't get into it, at least not here. But he does come across as a reasonable person in the dinner thread. Quite jeckle and hyde. ;)

This really makes no sense to me. Essentially, you say you're tired of all the race threads, so you make yet another race thread?

I made an anti-race thread :) It's not bringing up some racist accusation, it's trying to see everyone's views on all the racism and charges that go on in America and the absurdity of it all.

I AM REALLY tired of hearing about ( right-wing ) racism?

From what I understand .. if you observe what the scripture says about the end times . . . the bible states that in the end days nation shall rise against nation . . . if you view the word nation .. it is translated ( Greek= ethnos ) we get our word ethnic . . . you could actually read it this way .. ethnic shall rise against ethnic . . . yes, I'm tired of the left pinning racism tags on anyone and everyone who opposes their religious secular idology and agenda . . . but it IS what I expect.

So, do you believe that racism no longer exists? Because, frankly, I would find it interesting if you could live in Tennessee and make that claim.

Sorry, I go off on tangents from time to time.;)

Absolutely not, racism still most definitely exists, but the fact that it exists is abused and exploded into something its not. I think racism is mainly used as a way to defame people. Racism isn't just a white on black issue, we are seeing racism from minorities towards other minorities and towards white people as well. One thing I've noticed in my area is intense racism between Hispanics and African Americans. I just think racism has become a political ploy and an easy way to dismiss criticism or defame a group of people/person that disagrees with certain policies. An example would be calling all the Tea Party protesters racist KKK members that want to kill Obama because he's a Kenyan born black Muslim.

It all started with biological classification, which was convoluted by people like HITLER!

Could you please learn to use the quote function instead of using these colors?

It's in the tool bar above where you post, and looks like a quotation (to the direct left of the number sign). You highlight the words you want to quote and click that button.

Your obvious prejudices on this topic slanted your survey choices. I think that racism still clearly exists, still deserves to be addressed, and should be addressed openly and candidly, without throwing out names and pots and kettles.

And, no, I'm not tired of discussing actual racism, and talking about ways to deal with it.

p.s. I would suggest that your view of racism has a lot to do with the fact that you're white, male, and living in Tennessee. I suspect you rarely experience it.

As I said, I wanted to add a little humor to the poll (hence the choices). Racism should be address where racism truly exists. They should be going to the black communities where there is gang violence between African American and Latinos, they should be going to rural areas where white people discriminate against African Americans, and they need to go to other areas where discrimination and racism are present. However, the don't need to play the race card and call everyone racists simply because it's convenient and an easy way to defame a group's character and message. Plus I think a lot of these anti-racism leaders are bogus morons like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

All I know is that I have a real problem with people who have nasty rude attitudes ..
you agree ??

Who should be going these places? Maybe you should be going to those places, for starters.

When you make these kinds of posts, it is an attempt to dismiss other people's perspectives on race because they don't "jive" with your own (I realize the word is jibe, just couldn't resist).

Is it possible that a 19-year-old black man in Memphis might have a very different experience than you on this subject? Might he have seen/felt/been treated in ways that are very different from how you are treated, simply as a result of your skin color?
