As the title states.

Thanks to Ikari for coming up with the idea.

EDIT: The title should read "fertalized" not fetalized.

Would eating a fertilized chicken egg be the same as eating a chicken?

Is swallowing sperm cannibalism? :2razz: What about eating your own boogers? ;)

~incidentally, my spellcheck is flagging 'fertalized'

I asked a vegan friend about swallowing after blow jobs once and he couldn't come up with a good answer.

LOL.

Hey, I like the word 'fetalized', it's perfect. I think it should become popularized. It's a good word.

My goodness!

No.

The absurdity of considering a single celled human organism to be a human being (person) trivializes the signifcance of the human experience. Period.

so, if i ate a single skin cell, it wouldn't be cannabalism?

Nope. Well, not in and of itself.

Personally, I would not trouble myself about committing cannibalism unless I was eating a significant amount of the body of a person who was dead, or was being injured in order to give me the portion of their body that I was eating. Simple enough, really.

However, my stomach turns at the thought of eating breaded and deep fried 8 week old fetuses. I am not sure it is a moral thing that makes it so, for me, however. I doubt it. At least not a murderous cannabalism moral sort of thing.

just to be a pedantic smart arse, what if i ate an entire person, one cell at a time?

I don't mind these questions. They make me think and refine, sometimes. I think this falls under the notion of 'eating a significant portion of a dead body'. I don't think it matters if it is one, two, or thousands of cells at a time.

If it is not a human life, what is it?

It is "a human life", I already stated as much. Specifically, it is a human zygote, an altogether different thing than a human baby, except for genetically.

Would it be different than say eating a human finger, tongue or some other body part? A cannibal is someone who eats the flesh of other humans or a animal who eats others of its own kind.

Well then... if a human eats a human, it's canabilaism.

A zygote is an early stage of a human life. Its still a human life

It's a pretty small snack. If no one else knew about it, then it didn't happen.
