Well that's just stupid. Anyone that goes into an interview with the hopes of "being a catalyst for changing company policy" doesn't deserve the job; the interview is about getting a job, not taking a moral stance.



This is completely true. Outside of white collar jobs these things are pretty well tolerated.

and increasingly in creativity oriented white collar jobs as well.

actuaries will probably never have tattoos, but that's more of a statement about actuaries then business and tattoos.

Tax lawyers, too. They are the people who didn't have the personality it takes to be accountants.

I've never met a normal accountant. In all cases, there was something screwed up about their personalities. The stereotype of accountants being boring does not seem to hold up to reality.

Interesting. Maybe all the numbers make a person insane. Or perhaps only a crazy person would want to go into accounting.

I worked in the finance field for YEARS and I'm perfectly normal. :mrgreen:

Nah, they are already a bit obsessive-compulsive. I have an obsession with numbers and order. It didn't cause my insanity, it is my insanity.;)
