I like Paul, but there's a whole lot of house-cleaning that needs to be done on all fronts in order to bring sanity to our nation.

Too old.

Voice is too squeaky.

Great Congressman.

Takes votes from Republicans that tends ta help Democrats.

That is why the media is giving him so much attention. They know he is Obama's secret weapon for winning re-election!

If you want another fast talker, with a nice smile, then no. but we want somebody to get us out of the financial mess we are in, then YES. He knows where all the bodies are buried, and who buried them there. He is a Man of courage and conviction. the first true Statesman to come down the pike in quite a while. If we miss this chance, it could be our last. we are going down fast, if you haven't notice. --History shows there is a turning point, with Nations going down hill. some make it, and some don't.

I imagine that it is very difficult to dig up legitimate data that our nation is going uphill or downhill.
I see evidence of both.
clean air
clean environment
the suicide rate
crime rates and types
number of policemen
number of potholes
rate of beneficial inventions
bankruptacies
homelessness
other things with a degree of pertenance..
IMO, if we are going "uphill", the rate is too slow for me.

the American People, have proven to me they will follow whom ever has the bell around their neck. they need leadership, whether they admit it or not.---and not just more politicians, that live one election to the next, with no long term plans for our future. We are not nearly as bright as our diplomas say we are.

****** Now those who follow Michael Moore or Alex Jones - Now they are truly cerebral and don't get easily swayed (??) Right (??)

Paul/Palin 2012

That would be great!

Quite possibly the biggest electoral landslide in the history of this country... for President Obama!

Though I'm a Ralph Nader and Cynthia McKinney type person, I honestly think he should go for it. I don't agree with most of his positions on domestic policy (aside from not adding on to the national debt and legalizing marijuana) but I do like where he stands on foreign policy.

Nader is cool but seriously Mckinney, W T F?!

She fell off the sanity wagon a long time ago.
I suspect she has anti semitic beliefs, like her father.

She's not anti semitic at all. Besides she has a reason to be angry with the actions of their government because she was kidnapped while she and a couple others were on their way to Gaza.

Hello:2wave:

Should Ron Paul run for President in 2012 & Why?

Ron Paul Wins CPAC 2010 Presidential Straw Poll for 2012!
YouTube- Ron Paul Wins CPAC 2010 Presidential Straw Poll

He should be allowed to run.The more he merrier. The two party monopoly should end. That said I would like to see a 51% rule and a second election( if none of the candidates get 51% )between the two candidates who received the highest number of votes. This would ensure that a president is not picked by only 10% of the country.

He would make it very easy for the democrat candidate to win. My sense that is why the media and other liberal groups are building him up.

I favor Ron Paul's foreign policy position over the Democrat/Republican position.

Ron Paul-great message, lousy messenger

there have been a couple really good Libertarian Candidates such as Ed Clark (80) and Andre Marrou (92)
