He should be allowed to run.The more he merrier. The two party monopoly should end. That said I would like to see a 51% rule and a second election( if none of the candidates get 51% )between the two candidates who received the highest number of votes. This would ensure that a president is not picked by only 10% of the country.
Let Islam take over the world really isnt that cool a policy.
I don't see eye to eye with Ron Paul on many economic issues, but on social issues and foreign policy - He is right on. The sad part though is mainstream Republicans dislike him because he believes in freedom and anti-imperialism.
I'm not afraid of the boogieman or shadows. I remember the same warmongering tactics used during our war on Vietnam.
The whole world would fall to communism like dominoes. And what actually happened after the people demanded an end to the war? We became trading partners with them, which we remain today.
Scary!
They did not go over a cliff by themselves. They were pushed by democracy. Of course we would trade.
Your argument lacks weight.
I voted "no." Ron Paul would shut down too many aspects of the government too quickly via executive order, and it would hurt too many people and businesses if he did so. If Ron Paul became President, I'm sure there would be a pissing match never before seen between the President and Congress over the functioning of the government.
I don't mind a libertarian for President so long as he's a moderate libertarian, and I don't think Ron Paul is one.
I like Paul, but there's a whole lot of house-cleaning that needs to be done on all fronts in order to bring sanity to our nation.
Too old.
Strom Thurmond was 100 years old.
Voice is too squeaky.
So what. I LOVE it.
Great Congressman.
AMEN!
Takes votes from Republicans that tends ta help Democrats.
Taking votes from Republican turncoats in the primaries does NOT give votes to Democrats.
