I love it. Half the extremists think that this site only has rightwing extremists; the other half think this site only has leftwing extremists. What that tells me is that the problem isn't with the forum at large, but with the extremists... aka anyone who would ask a question like what is asked in the OP.

The American Far left is pretty close to allot of places, mostly in Western Europe. The majority of Americans are someplace in the middle. It's like you judge the makeup of everyone in America by this site.
 
I'm calling for a point/counterpoint debate between the OP and American.

To se the scene, the OP contends that the people who label themselves as Moderate, centrists, independents, and libertarians are extreme right wingers in disguise.

While American contends that the people who label themselves as Moderate, centrists, independents, and libertarians are extreme left wingers in disguise.

Now I will sit back and here both of your arguments, and as the independent socialist leftist ultra authoritarian right-winger judge I will declare the winner.

Well actually that's wrong, Zeebra.

The American far-left definition fits in everywhere in the world except some places in Western Europe, where the far-left is even more extreme.

If I assume that you mean "persons whose political views are considered right-wing by me", then yes, you are correct.

But as your definition of "right-wing" is only one among billions, it don't mean ****.

Personally however, I dislike "left" or "right" as labels.

I probably have some views who most would consider left (but not everyone), and some who most would consider right (but, again, not everyone).

And then there are those issues that I either don't know about, don't care about, or can't decide on one way or another, but lean to one side on (and I'm not sure which one it is).

That clear things up for ya?
 
I don't think the site is vast majority right-wingers... I see all kinds, and I don't really think it's fair to say all moderates, independents, centrists, and libertarians are secretly hard left/right without actually asking them why they consider themselves to be labeled as they are. I'm an independent, I have a lot of conservative belief's and some liberal beliefs, I have a lot of mixed beliefs and there are some things I don't really have an opinion about yet. Although I agree with some, it would be neat to have a hunt for masquerading members. They are probably spies for the Democrats/Republicans :cool:
