Should we develop androids that can think, reason, and possibly even feel emotion?

It is being done as we speak; the leading developers are the Japanese. It will be a big deal in another 15-30 years, and we might as well get used to it as there is no putting the genie back in the bottle.

I don't think it's a question of "should." It's going to happen, regardless of any ethical qualms people have about it.

I just really like sex and have had it with many different types of men, and even a few women out of curiosity. I'd be open to something different, but animals and corpses are out (geeee-rrrooossssss), so that leaves machines. Could be interesting for kicks and there would be no danger of STDs.

and if they malfunctioned, that'd be a shocking experience

I have to say no.I think the Terminator movies and other similar movies made me believe that building any free thinking machine is a horrible idea.

They may even be capable of sex with a human.
