If Hitler were only born a little later he could have been around to make the tea-party-ites a viable political force to be reckoned with. After all, the Nazis also started as a hypernationalistic, racist, anti-poor, anti-immigrant grass roots movement composed of working class and petty bourgeoise elements, funded by finance capital and espousing a rhetoric centered around betrayal of the fatherland by minorities presumed to be holding all power.
Hitler's in hell watching with anticipation to see what it develops into.
