None of the above.Four liberal sources and one somewhat conservative source. Sometimes they are accurate and sometimes they are not. They are not fair or balanced. To get a balance one should get their news/information from multiple sources.

None of the above. there are not many "unbiased" new organizations left, certainly none amongst the main stream media. So you have to note the personal bias of each network when considering their words.

None of the above. Rush is a talk show host, not a news reporter.

The first four choices all make an effort to be accurate, but I picked PBS as the *most* accurate. I know they have a great reputation. However, I get my information from BBC and CNN a lot more than I use PBS.

How are so many Americans getting the BBC channel?

PBS. Jim Lehrer News Hour > *.

How are so many Americans getting the BBC channel?

We get the BBC channel here in DC. But I rarely watch television news; I usually get my news from the websites of BBC, CNN, or CNBC.

None of the above.

I sometimes listen to Rush Limbaugh's radio show, but I take things he says with...

Well let’s say several dashes of salt, not just 1 grain.

And I don’t watch TV news at all.

Or TV, for that matter.

Edit: Your avatar frightens me.

All of these sources have liberal bias, and Rush Limbaugh is the only conservative bias network. Why is Foxnews not one of the choices? And what about other international news sites like Jpost?

There should be a "none of the above" option in this poll. Or more news options.

I wouldn't trust any of them too far. But if I had to put them in order, it would roughly be:

PBS news
ABC news
BBC/CNN tied
Rush Limbaugh

Although perhaps Rush should be first, since he at least is honest about what you're getting on his show, and doesn't pretend to be 'fair and balanced'.

Why didn't you put C-Span up there? For political news without commentary, it's one of the best since you can watch directly what the politicians are debating about.

My cable service actually carries a BBC channel, known as BBC America, or BBCA. It's how I got to watch Robin Hood and Doctor Who.

PBS - everything else is concerned with ratings and they'll sensationalize, nitpick and overlook important stories if they think it would hurt ratings.

PBS just doesn't play that.

Or honest. Or credible. Or rational. He's a big, ranting windbag with an agenda and an ego the size of Texas.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. My point though, was that while he may indeed be more biased than the other sources, he doesn't try to sell himself as unbiased.

I don't see why so many Americans hate on the BBC...I've always thought they've done a very good job in terms of accuracy. And the QUALITY of their news is certainly better than anything you'll see on an American cable news network.

Of the choices on the list, I'd rank them like this:
PBS
BBC
CNN
Rush

I don't know much about ABC as I don't think I've ever actually watched it. I'm sure it ranks above Rush Limbaugh, but I don't really know how it compares to the others.

YEA! C-SPAN has my vote, then Fox. Fox has a mixture of political views. Rush, I love, but he isn't exactly unbiased. BBC is also good.
The rest I watch, but don't trust. Way too far left.
You left off the top two, so I was forced to go with Rush.

Liberals (Progressives) don't like accuracy. They like news that agrees with their agendas. That's why they ignore news stories that make the president or their side look bad.
