I probably couldn't afford to live in Russel Simmon's dog house.

I think he sold it. I haven't seen him in years.

It was on a ****ty piece or property, Not worth the 20 million he was asking for it. Maybe with all that gawdy crap he had in it.

Lets just say, Some of my neighbors included, Russel Simmons, Lawrence Taylor and Vince Carter, if that gives you any clue as to the Greatness that is the Good Reverend and his stature in high society.

MEH, it's still Jersey.......
I do like the Palisades though.......;)

lets just say my checkbook suffers from aids...annual income deficiency syndrome.

how exactly did obama screw students?

Poverty among young and studens are at record levels in the US. As long as these things have been measured, it has never been so low. That was in 1948 it started, and its now out of the chart!

I read this in a Norwegian economics daily. So I cant really quote it, but I am sure someone here who knows how to find US stats can find the stats the article mentioned as source.

Source, not that I do not believe you, which I do not..You should know the figures lie and that liars figure.

"how exactly did Obama "screw" the students?"
What an infantile statement and question.
That is not to say that he did not "screw" one.
Who hasn't?:rofl

Those who cannot "make it" with an income of $50K annually, need to learn how to budget money. This may involve pitching the cell phone, the TV and the internet and spending an hour or two helping the poor...
This is what I should be doing, retired on less than $30K annually....

After all is said an done, I figure I cleared about $7.38 last year.

I never said Obama did that. I believe reactions in politics can follow quite long a time afterwards. Those statistics was from the US statistical office of some kind. I am not that familiar with those to find it.

It was a recent statistical press release.. I think I read the article last week.

I'm actually still in my apprenticeship. I could double that salary once I become a journeyman.

Damn.. party at Tuck's house when he gets his big raise!

I'm a starving student, so I currently make no money. :(

Doesn't Obama want to tax the rich? Better them than me.

that is the reason why we should have a flat tax or a consumption tax

obama can buy your vote by promising goodies you want that others will have to pay for

I don't want any goodies. I just want to pay less taxes.

I don't want any goodies. I just want to pay less taxes.

yet you want other people-people who already pay far more than their fair share, to pay more.

I agree, I mainly posted the roundabouts of our income to make a point. I look at it this way, we are all anonymous here and will most likey never meet in real life. I wouldn't discuss this with a room full of folks. Also within a months time, nobody will remember anyway:2wave:

Sounds as if you know how to budget and do really well with your money.

I retired 18 mnth ago, I have not claimed my private pension, my state pension does not kick in for another 7 yrs. Up until my retirement, my total savings per annum in my pension ,investments ect was about £30K.

I'm a dirt poor unemployed university student getting by on scholarships and a janitorial job at a church (all I do is vacuum it twice a week). Thanks Obama for screwing students and the job market :) If anything the government should put some regulation on rising tuition prices...

with govt subsidies, right?

Income minus outgo is the simple formula.....
I know people of many income and education levels who can't seem to make the outgo less than the income.
