You should put the fact that you are from Norway, Western Europe in your profile, to distinguish yourself from someone from France say. All government communications and especially communications from political parties is propaganda.
You live in Norway. You don't have a ****ing clue what happens here in America. You call us a nationalist fascist military state. That is the most asinine thing I have heard all month. We have all types here. There are those who are militarists and nationalists. I am one. This does not mean we are fascist, especially because most people are not militarists or nationalists. The mere fact that we have protests undisturbed against our military operations is clear evidence that we are not some fascist police state. Get real. Don't be an idiot.
Actually there is a reason I put western Europe. I dont live in Norway, havent for many years. I have lived in the US. I have lived in many western European countries, almost all actually. I have a good clue what is happening in the US, I hear about it all the time, too much, in many languages from many different media, including US media, Russian media, Chinese media, internet, different European media, even African media. You might be militarist and nationalist, but not fascist, but your government when ruled by the republicans are ALL of them, by democrats socialist instead of fascist, but still militarist and nationalist.
Interesting thing is that in the US, and Europe we need approval by the government to protest, which removes spontanity. And the police and military is always there directing the protests.
I may be exhaggerating often, but I am not that far from the reality.
Most people don't question what they are told.
Social problem that it is imperative that government, media, people, education, politicians and everyone put priority on.
I do, and it seems you do too. Except I have seen no evidence that you change your position upon learning new things. I change my opinion as well.
I do, I change my opinions often. I used to support the Iraq war, and used to be a big US fanboy until I was soberly reminded of reality. For example. People say I hate the US, but I dont, I just want them to do what is right and leave others the **** alone. There is also a reason I liked the US in the 90s, while I dislike them now. The US was in the past something to admire, a good place, with good values, ruled by the people through a fair government, this has changed very negatively. Its amazing how much it changed after 911.
I am currently learning about the Due Process Clause and how that was used to justify abortion in this country. I currently don't see it clearly - it is a very confusing piece of Constitutional Amendment. I am pro-choice, but I want each state to decide for themselves. A middleground opinion as it were. There is plenty of information on the internet to learn your way past propaganda.
I am pro choice and pro life at once. Many issues exist that I have no clear stance on or a conflicting stance on, because I overwhelmingly support the reasons of both sides.
