I do not think this is the same case as Obama bowing before a Japanese emperor because everybody in Japan and other Asian countries bow before each other. Usually the younger person's bow is lower than the older person's bow. With the Queen of England and other European nobles it is viewed that only subjects bow before nobles.
 
America does not bow to hereditary monarchs. Period

I hate liberals and neo-cons who support nation building, but the best act of nation building that I can accept is holding your head high against hereditary monarchs.

When i taught aikido kohai bowed deeper than sempai age was unrelated.

It's pretty much just a GOTCHA and mud-slinging thread, which is pretty typical on most political discussion forums in my experience.

I believe it is an attempt to try to catch republicans being hypocrites by seeing if they had a problem with Obama doing something but not Reagan practically doing the same thing or to try to catch democrats being hypocrites if they didn't have a problem with Obama doing something but had a problem with Reagan practically doing the same thing.

I also have mentioned Bush HW bowing as well. But seeing how many Republicans here worship Reagan like a God, he's better off as an example to highlight sheer unending hypocrisy.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I bother. Most people here know who is an uber-partisan hack. While the poll is useful in highlighting who is by showing who didn't vote, it's not hard for the average user to figure out who has a problem with consistency.
