Jimmy Carter did no lasting harm?????

Certainly not enough to qualify him as one of the worst presidents of all time. Losing Iran doesn't even rank that highly on the list of ****-ups...it hardly compares to losing China (Truman) or losing half of one's own country (Buchanan). Most of Carter's mess was just limited to his one term in office and didn't have any long-lasting repercussions.

Only because Carter was followed by someone able to clean up the mess Carter left behind.

We have to stop electing fools like Carter and Obama and Bush, and concentrate on getting more Reagans to run for office.

Perhaps, but James Buchanan was followed by a good president and he still managed to do lasting damage.

Whatever.

Carter was a boob that was and still is a serious threat to national security, and we'll all be safer when he's dead.

I bet you thought you'd see Bush or Obama's name up there...

Except from Bush, clearly Reagan is the worst. I believe when Arnold Swartzenegger becomes president he will be worse, eventually beat by up and coming first US female president Pamela Anderson and eventually the second one, and adult Britney Spears who tells the nation she will show her vegina if they elect her..

Good luck with 2012 selection! ;)

Reagan. He set us up for the economic ****hole we are in now.

Bush
Why?
Because we all know why

You'd best be trollin'. You come here. To this thread. Say something stupid, and offer no evidence? No, Wise ass, enlighten us as to why we "all know" Bush was the worst President ever.

Reagan. He set us up for the economic ****hole we are in now.

Yeah, and it sure wasn't under Clinton that the banks were pressured into actually giving out loans to people who should have been renters.

My vote is for Obama...His "change" will end up destroying many jobs for zero gain.

Reagan. He set us up for the economic ****hole we are in now.

What part of the FHA or CRA did Reagan significantly alter to the point of removing blame from the shoulders of FDR, Jimmy, or Rapist?

Agreed on both. Bush and Clinton will be like little kids league damage compared to what Reagan did and Obama is doing.

Guys.. We have to look at the overall reasons for the severely bad state of the economy. One cannot for example blame the economic crisis on subprime alone, or sloppy and wasteful banking alone, not those two in combination. The ongoing economic collapse is due to a lot of factors. I say ongoing because even the trillions in wasteful spending will just delay the inevitable, the dissappointment was that it delayed it only slightly.
