This video from Fox News tells the story. He was spotted through his kitchen window at 5 AM making coffee in the buff by a woman who was cutting across his lawn with her child. She called the police and 5 cops barged in his house and found him in his bedroom and arrested him. He's facing charges for indecent exposure.

 :doh God, NO, he shouldn't have been arrested for being naked in his own house!

nope. perhaps the woman should be arrested for tressspassing.

I guess, if convicted, he'll end up on a sex offender list...

If she didn't want to see a naked man, she should stop being a peeping tammy.

Heck I walk around nude all the time in my house

This is a ridiculous case. It just highlights the fact that Americans have seemingly lost all sense of reason. She trespassed, saw a naked dude...get over it. If he was standing in front of an open door swinging his junk around...maybe then. But for what we was doing...hell no. People need to grow up. Maybe child services should have been called on the woman for taking her child places where he/she would see a naked guy making coffee...hahah.

So now a person has to live in fear of the neighborhood busybody reporting them for nudity in their own home? Who wants to bet that this man, who was minding his own business in his own home, will end up on a sex offender registry? I'm sure a naked man making coffee in his own home at 5 a.m. is such a threat to public safety that it's easily justifiable for five cops to be pulled away from their normal duties protecting the public from violent offenders and responding to emergencies and crises in order to bust down the door of this man's personal space and sanctuary to put a stop to the abusive act he was perpetrating, as well as call him names ("pervert"), and generally treat him like some kind of deviant before they even explain what the problem is. And thank goodness someone thought to call his employer to tell them all about what happened and warn them of the "dangerous predator" that has been lurking in their midst all this time. Thank God for our "big brother", who watches over us all, tirelessly protecting us from such threats. Everyone in his neighborhood can surely sleep soundly at night once again knowing that this monster will no longer terrorize them with his private nudity. :sarcasticclap :slapme:

That's what I was thinking too, except I'm curious about why the hell she had her kid out walking the streets at 5 a.m. No elementary school I've ever seen starts classes that early that she'd have reason to be walking the neighborhood streets with him at that hour.

Seems like she was placing him at undue risk. After all, she could be robbed at gunpoint while out with him and he could be hurt, or worse.

If I was him I would not only be talking to a defense lawyer, I would be suing for wrongful arrest.

The woman needs to be arrested for trespassing, contributing to the deliquency of minor, and endangering a child. The police offers who entered the man's house need to be charged with false arrest, trespassing, and be terminated from their positions with the police department.

Being naked inside a private residence is not illegal. The police are wrong and need to be severely punished for their wanton stupidity.

Not just trespasing, but for being a peeping-tom. That's two charges on her nosey, trespassing butt.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Is this a joke? Seriously?

What a great opportunity to sue the **** out of this lady, and sue the **** out of the city. This is going to be the best thing monetarily, that has ever happened to this guy. He needs a good lawyer and this is going to be great!

What a great opportunity to force the powers that be to start applying a tiny bit of common sense in these situations.

I personally don't have a problem with nudity and I don't find it shocking. It's unfortunate that most people do not have a mature perspective of what it means to be human, but it is what it is.

In this case law enforcement over reacted, but there is a general point. As long as the public is being babied when it comes to indecent exposure, people should have the right to walk anywhere in public without being exposed to another person's nakedness if they don't want to be. She cut through his property, yeah, but that's a separate issue from the fact that she saw a naked man. He could have had his drapes closed.

I walk around my house nude too but I always close the drapes for the very reason that I wouldn't want a random person peeping at me.

I would really love to know more about the woman who made the phone call. I mean, the cops themselves didn't see the nudity, so we have no idea what really happened apart from her word. Who actually calls the police at 5am over something like that? Smells fishy to me.

That's the point though, she was not in public, she was tresspassing on his property.
If he could be seen from the street, ok there might be an issue there. But if you had to be tresspassing to see him, then ****... you might as well arrest someone for being nude in the tub, after all if someone broke into their house they might see them nude.

Now there's a good point. Why do I suspect she had a grudge against this man and was snooping?

There's this apocryphal story about a little old lady who called the cops. "Officer, those people next door are always parading around in the nude! Something should be done!"
Cop: "Okay, Lady, you show me where you saw them, and if I can see them too I'll arrest 'em."
The little old lady leads him outside, through a gap into the hedge into the neighbor's yard, and up to a closed window. "Right here, Officer!"
Cop: "I don't see nothin'."
Lady: "You have to stand on this block and look through the hole in the blinds..."

The woman should be given a warning possibly trespassing.
I have no clue why someone should be arrested for nudity in their own home.
This getting more ridiculous, I just watched the video. Why the hell was she out at 5 am with her kid? Why would you cut across someone's lawn? People tend to avoid that in the day, let alone at 5 am.

The only person who should have been arrested is the woman for trespassing. She is going to trespass and then have the audacity to call the cops because she saw a naked man while trespassing.WTF were those cops thinking?

The cops should be taught how to think...yes, I know this cannot be taught.
The 5 cops should be laid off, if they have nothing better to do.
The woman should be given a warning for trespassing.
This whole thing is an absurdity; maybe its just a test or a survey of sorts??
