Predictions - Who will win the NY-23 Representative Special Election?

Who will win the 2009 election for NY-23 Representative Special Election?

  • Total voters
    7
  • Poll closed .
I think the Club for Growth will help to elect Bill Owens in this election. Maybe it's too early to call .... Imma go out on a limb ;)

I have a feeling Hoffman will be knocked off the ballot via a technically like what happened to Sundwell in the 20th district election.

Really? What happened in that election?

You know how with some people their address is in one town but their taxes are paid to another? Well the Demopubicans were able to convince the clowns on the NY elections board that signatures in those type of situations didnt count and by the time the rulling came by, the signature deadline passed. But in a ray of light, they corrected that bull**** technicality so it cant be used against potential candidates again.

Wow, that's messed up.

Wow, that's messed up.

Yea, the state LP was pumped up for this election too, hell I donated around $50 to Sundwell's campaign. Dont know if we are going to run anyone for the Senate, or Governor races. Alot of fellow party members Ive talked to dont trust Rudy or Lazio at all.

I was just googling it and reading about it. So, it was the person who witnessed the pages of signatures that caused the problem? I'm glad they changed it.

Man, the people who signed the petition must have been SO pissed.

Obviously the Democrat, if nothing stupid is done.
The Republicans have been split by the Conservatives - heavens forbid if they win anything..
Now, if we split into 5 political parties....:rofl
conservatives
republicians
moderates
democrats
liberals

I'm changing my prediction to Doug Hoffman.

I had an apartment one time with a mailing adress in the city of Syracuse, NY. Election day came around and I discovered I was actually living in Dewitt, so I didn't get a chance to vote against the scum bucket Democrat mayor of Syracuse, but he lost without my help anyway.

Last day to predict ! :2wave:

Wow, it looks like Hoffman actually has a good chance of winning.

When was the last time a third-party candidate who was not an Independent got elected to Congress?

Bernie Sanders? Not sure.

Getcher prediction in! :2wave:

If they have voted for a republican since the civil and have been voting for conservatives for a long I think Hoffman will win. Although I do believe most new york republicans probably couldn't even run as republican in the southern states and if they ran as democrat would lose in a primary to a more conservative democrat.
