If we agree on it, what are we arguing about?
I think this all stems from your response post stating that any drug is harmful in excess. The point I was originally attempting to make is that not all drugs are necessarily harmful.

I've actually sampled alot of binaural beat/wave generators and tone generators. Having your own tone generator and turning it up really loud and channeling the sound directly into your ear with in-ear headphones can be pretty entertaining. You come across frequencies that mellow you out, make you feel warm, that tickle your whole body, or even cause waves of pleasure.

Hooked up to a killer hi-fi system $10k + range would be a great way to mellow out while you do something... or nothing.

What are the hi-fi system's components? (I have a system centered around Snell E loudspeakers...... Killer!:)

Nice speakers... well youd have to have a sound card that could pump out some hi-fidelity sound and a really good beat generator/ binaural wave generator or tone generator that could produce nice tones with your pcs card.

My laptop wouldnt suffice for such a system.

Youd prolly want the sound through an optical cable too.

WHat do you have on those things you got an SACD player?

I was an audiophile for my younger years.

...And? Food is harmful in excess. Medicine is harmful in excess. Sleep is harmful in excess.

Try getting fat from one doughnut.

Try posting an intelligent argument if you would like to discuss the topic.

When you stop comparing food to drugs then please speak of intelligent comments.

The comparison was shown to make clear the point that nearly anything in excess is harmful to the human body. Again, feel free to contribute an intelligent counter argument instead of being content with simple quips and one-liners.

Only slight difference is that with drugs 1000s of people have died from single use overdoses. Can you show any statistics on people dying from eating a single meal? Can you show the leading causes of death in America? I bet you anything that eating a dougnut doesn't make it from the top 10 but doing drugs makes it to second.

Sure. 150 people die each year from food allergies.

Can you show the leading causes of death in America?
Sure can. Still not sure what you are hoping to accomplish, but I'll oblige your request.

I do not see "doing drugs"(which is a laughably nebulous term) on the list at all. What a shame for you.
