pfft.. that's the job title.. it would be rather sexist to change it just because he didn't have the same plumbing as the rest of the people who held that title.

Call me sexist then. It's my poll and it's about ladies.

geez.. not only are you sexist, but you are too damned serious as well. :2razz:

anywhere near bob hope drive?

Joshua Tree is in the high desert. College of the Desert is in Palm Desert. I went there in the early 90s.

I cant remember much, its hazy;)

I'm curious what people see in Nancy. She struck me as a ruthless witch. I didn't like her at all.

Nancy Reagan had style and grace, and worked to keep kids off drugs.

Thank god that Sarah Palin is not on the list because she ant very smart at all.

All of these First Ladies are great, first class women.
Mrs Kennedy was a princess.

That's how I felt about Rosalyn Carter, I just thought that Nancy was a little aloof, but not unkind or unpleasant.

Both of the Bush ladies struck me as friendly, Hilary I just thought might strike me.

I think most of the ladies listed are/were wonderful, it was a tough choice. It seems Americans had some so-so Presidents, but have really lucked out on First Ladies.

What the frig does Sarah Palin have to do with this poll? Her husband never even ran for President, let alone win.

Jeepers.

Well, she "ant" very smart. :rofl

I like Hillary in her own right, but not as a first lady. She was a phoney "cheerleader" in that roll, and it did not suit her. Plus I believe she set women back by staying with a cheating spouse in order to further her career. I do not respect that for one minute. However, on her own, she's a woman of strength and grit. I swear if she had shown some balls and divorced that SOB, she'd be president right now.

I never got the love affair with Jackie Kennedy. Sure she dressed beautifully, but she was a ditzy gold digger IMO. Come on, Aristotle Onassis? :2sick1:

She made it OK and not shameful to get help for one's addication/mental health issues. It has helped change the way some look at this. A very brave woman.

She also made it not taboo to discuss breast cancer. I voted for Betty Ford as well.

I fnd it interesting that Nancy Reagan is leading. Out of all in the list, she is my least fav. What am I missing?

I do not get it either. I never liked her. I actually liked Barbara Bush considerably more than anyone on the list, except maybe Michelle O.
