There are 41 African Americans in the entire Congress. Most are Democrats. You are surprised that you can't find one in the picture why?

And Obama just called a good portion of Republicans liars in that speech. Does that make him racist? I'm surprised more Republicans weren't giving retorts in that speech. It was a personal attack against them. The media doesn't like when people stand up to liberals.

I am so sick and tired of the left using the race card. I can't stand it.

:2mad: It infuriates me. People are just completely dismissing the opposing positions as nothing but racism, and ignoring the arguments. I want to scream my head off I get so upset. This "racist" accusation strategy the Democrats are using is going to hurt them, especially with independents. They will lose seats.

I regard anyone who claims a good amount of opposition to Obama is about his race as an arrogant, pathetic, ignorant, idiotic, close-minded fool.

Are there racists out there? Of course, white racists, black racists, racists of all colors. But the idea that racism is the main motive for opposition against Obama is absurd. PERIOD.

I don't see anyone in that video calling these people at the rallies "uncle toms" or any liberals "rip(ping) them apart".
There are plenty who are from the left who actually respect African Americans supporting the "other side." Just because they have opposing viewpoints doesn't mean they are all being marked for blasphemy by EVERYONE on the left or fellow minority Americans.

That's just a fictitious generalization just like 100 people are holding up racist poster boards at tea parties makes one million of them racist.
Just like 100 people at a rally threatening Bush's life makes every participant a troop hating anarchist.

Here are my beliefs on Joe Wilson's outburst:

1. It was pre-planned & not spontaneous.
2. Its major motivation was to help the HC Industry who have paid Wilson tons of money to be their stooge.
3. Wilson is a racist as well, so his outburst served 2 purposes.
4. His outburst will probably cost him his Congressional seat........ which he will lose to a Democrat next election.

Racist? The statement itself? No. The man who said it? Maybe. Was it planned? Yes. Should Congress have admonished him for protocol violations? Yes. Was it expedient or wise? Probably not.
 
Because everyone knows Republicans in Congress are known for their tight-lipped status with the press, I can't help but agree... Oh wait, who are we talking about again?

Are liars a race? If so the congressman is indeed racist. He voiced his opposition to liars loud and clear.


If liars are not a race then he would have have to added some adjectives in there somewhere like a well known plagiarist Maureen Dowd.

You guys are really are doing your messiah a disservice when you fail to address the critics concerns and instead attempt to portray them as mean spirited or racist.
