What state would you most like to live in?

You couldn't pay me enough money to live in Colorado. I've visited friends there about 3 or 4 times. That was enough for me.

Good, we don't take kindly to Californians around here.

hehe

I would love to try living in Oregon. A state that I have enjoyed visting in the past and suits me politically as well as geographically. I love the Portland area.

I am from nebraska but I really want to be in vermont even with all the crazy libs (no offence)

I don't really want to leave Northern Virginia. In fact, my hometown Vienna, was rated by Money Magazine as the 4th best town to live in in America. So my bias is not unfounded.

If I HAD to choose, I'd somewhere in the suburbs of Miami. Living right near the beach would be great, and it would be full of my Cuban and Juban* brethren.

*Half Cuban, half Jewish

Damn, I'd hate to think of the economy of a Jewish Cuba. All this haggling for cheap government-provided products and then loud anger and gunfights when things don't end well.

That is basically Miami... at least the part about the loud anger and gunfights.

i can't think of any off hand. i don't mind a visit to a few large cities. NY, Chi, SF or LA. but i would never live in the US again.

Probably NC or NorCal for the moderate weather.

Moderate weather? It gets very hot, humid and muggy during summer months in N.C. The winters can be mild but sometimes really bad ice storms.

I would love to find a place that stays around 60 degrees year round with no hot or extreme cold.

I gave up on the American dream when I realized it would mean moving to France, Sweden, Denmark or New Zealand.... hmmm, Hawaii might do if I could persuade all of my brothers and sisters and kids to move there, too.

Someplace on the Pacific Coast, perhaps? Doesn't San Francisco stay close to the same weather all year?

Rev, where did you live in Maine? That will tell me all I ever need to know about you. PM me if you want.

I guess if I had to move out of state, I'd go to Boston or Salem, so Mass it is.

I'm pretty content where I am.

If I were going to move, it would be to either Wyoming or Alaska. Beautiful, mostly empty, sensible laws on some of my pet issues, lots of good hunting, camping, and other outdoor stuff.

I guess if I had to move, I'd rather live in a mid-sized to large city in another gulf coast state, or possibly in a Southern Atlantic state (Georgia or one of the Carolinas).
No reason except climate and cultural familiarity.
I think being anywhere cold and/or dry would really knock me for a loop.
I don't know how to dress for cold weather, I don't feel comfortable wearing a lot of bulky clothes. I am acclimated to tolerating extremely hot temperatures, but cold temperatures feel brutally uncomfortable- even painful- to me.

i will like t o live in californeia.the Terminaator h e is gouvernor there :)
