Since my insurance company decided not to pay for my husband's cancer treatment, yes, I would be thrilled to find an affordable insurance plan which will not cherry pick and refuse to pay for things they interpret as a "pre-existing condition"! In other words, I would be grateful to pay for insurance that actually comes through when we need it.

My brother was diagnosed with cancer when he was 28. It is in full remission, but could come back at pretty much any time. Guess how much that little fact complicates him changing jobs.

Will you get on the public plan when it passes? We all know we support, or oppose the bill, so let's keep that to a minimum.

You think B.O. and the Liberal Dems are going to give you a "Choice"?

I support health care reform and it doesn't matter to me if the plan is private, public or a combination of the two.

Gee, if the country wasn't screwed up, he'd be paying for his own insurance, and that wouldn't be an issue.

But only in free countries do people pay for their own tickets.

Everywhere else, people are expecting someone else to be robbed to provide those "free" tickets for them.

He has employer paid insurance, which is part of his negotiated benefit package. His problem is that those private, free enterprise insurance companies mostly do not cover pre-existing conditions, which his cancer most certainly is.

Show from the bill where you won't.

There's 5 different Versions being proposed. All still being labeled as "Health-Care" by B.O., and the Dems...

It's hard to pick from.

I actually saw on the news today that Obama seems to be considering the senate version as his preferred version.

And why does that make you role your eyes??
This is supposed to be the stage in which people weigh in, argue their position, consider the merits...This is a laughing matter to you?

Did you spend even 5 minutes considering the above statement??

So much ignorance, so little time....

This is not a valid poll. All will be forced into the single payer public plan. This is what the bill (HR3200) is designed to do over time. This is what Obama said he wants to happen and what he has designed the bill to do. Of course he hasn't said it lately because he wants it to pass.

No. My healthcare is fine right now. Sure, sometimes costs can get high for appointments during the year (my allergies cause sinus infections) but I am for the most part satisfied enough.
