Outrage: Sarah Palin puts a former Klansman in charge of her agenda

Does putting extremists in charge of your agenda indicate that you are an extremist

I don't think Sarah Palin is an extremist, nor do I think Obama is. It's obviously not the best move politically to put an extremist in such a position. However, by doing so, one can't exactly expect people to not draw conclusions and make such connections. You are basically handing them ammo.

And most importantly, Jones serves as a nightmarishly unavoidable reminder of what a flaming left-wing extremist this president is proving to be, contrary to everything we were told.
Give me a goddamned break. Obama could qualify as a left-wing extremist in Nazi germany, but not in a civilized, educated nation. It's a pathetic example of how US politics exists in a right-wing bubble that a nationalistic capitalist moderate politician has you all freaking out as if he is a Marxist because he's showing the slightest regard for populist middle class politics.

I love to watch you squirm though. So much so that I'm beginning to think that the development of a real left in this country might be worthwhile. I mean, all this fuss about Obama, all the freaking out and stockpiling of guns... What if we actually had some actual socialists in positions of power?? Heads would explode. The old confederacy would secede.

I voted maybe. I do think that if the president was a republican and he appointed a former klansman the media would have had a field day with this, but since the president is a liberal and the racist/extremist in question was a member a black supremacist group the media doesn't give a ****. Appointing such people to positions does have to make one wonder, after all birds of a feather flock together.

Outrage: Sarah Palin puts a former Klansman in charge of her agenda
The title of the article is below:
Imagine Sarah Palin putting a former Klansman in charge of her agenda
This topic has a very misleading title. Sarah Palin does not have a former Klansman in charge of her agenda. Wayne Anthony Ross was never appointed, and I think it is far more likely Palin didn't know Ross had said and done what he did.

What bothers me is that the media blew up the story about Palin's nomination, yet has pretty much ignored the fact that Obama has appointed (not just nominated, APPOINTED) an outspoken communist. It doesn't make sense.

Chill Dude! The misleading title was meant to catch our Liberal Brethren in a net of hypocrisy. The article was to make ‘em face up to the fact by luring them in with a title, and then switching the players in the body.

I will admit that I had a blistering response all ready before I actually read the article I like these little stratagems from time to time.

1) Van Jones is not in charge of Obama's agenda.

2)Jones is not a racist or a leader (or former leader) of a hate organization analogous to the KKK.

3) In fact he is widely recognized as a civil rights leader and humanitarian with a history of reaching out to multi-racial organizations in the bay area.

4) It's heard to imagine a true communist advising that entrepreneurial business ventures are the solution to our problems.

5) I knew this thread was a fraud before I opened it and that it would be an attack on Obama because I tend to doubt that aquapub would be outraged in that hypothetical, and I know for a fact that he wouldn't be the one to bring it up.

. . .I know for a fact that he wouldn't be the one to bring it up.
"Fact" is a rigid term, you know.

After you spend some quality time with a dictionary, why don't you give us some support for your purported "fact?"

If you can, we’ll be able to judge better the validity of your other material. If not, likewise.

We await with rapt attention.

Well it sure lured me haha

Since the OP linked to nothing but a hit piece, can someone explain to me why this guy is so scary?

Sarah Palin puts a former Klansman in charge of her agenda

What "agenda"?
Tanning appointment at 10:00, manicure at 11:00, Bible Study class at noon?

Does she have some sort of employment that I'm unaware of?
I was under the impression she was retired.

Who is the communist here, quite confusing this is.

i am sorry but everybody knows what Obama is.

the article lacked the element of surprise.

i thought Sarah Palin retired. why are we talking about her? does this have some important undiscovered meaning? i mean like who the hell cares?

Seriously. Why is Sarah Palin still in the news? I have no interest in what she does.

You're right. There's nothing socialistic about "spreading the wealth around", or welfare, or multiculturalism, or government-run businesses, or divisive social politics, or SOCIALIZING health care. Nothing socialistic about it.

Just look the other way folks. Stick your heads in the sand until the government just owns everything. Not saying us regular folks with feel much direct pressure at first but it will arrive incrementally, until the proverbial frog has been cooked. Government agencies feed off their own existence, it's just a natural consequence of human nature - power corrupts.

The Founding Fathers handed us a near-perfect form of governance and certain people have been trying to move as far away from that vision as possible.

As John McCain is oft heard saying, "...it just staggers the imagination."
