What would you say?

Watch the video for an example:

oh, slobberingly certifiable. Without question.

Saved myself the vid click ;)

Beck may come off as being crazy but he has been right about alot of things that have happened that he predicted. I admit he is an alarmist but whats scary is that much of what he is saying is or has come true. He is also funny and entertaining.

I wouldnt call him crazy. Hyper is another matter.

He's crazy enough to embrace Ted Nugent's crazy rehetoric who we all know crapped his way out of serving in Vietnam. LOON MEET LOON.

100% undeniably loony (should be institutionalized or chemically rebalanced).

Crazy like a fox. That is his persona, a character he plays on the radio and the TV in order to keep people paying attention to him, and it works.

And unlike the others, whether I agree with him or not, I find his antics amusing and his grievances legitimate and based in matters of philosophical differences-- and concern for the caliber of people allowed to influence political affairs in Washington. He's not a frothing political hack or mindless hateful partisan like so many other commentators I don't care to mention.

I object in the strongest possible terms to his political philosophy, but as far as America's political discourse and the civility and rationality thereof are concerned, Mr. Beck is a part of the solution and I wish there were more like him.

Crazy? No. Eccentric? Totally.

I was fine until he made that girlish scream. That killed me.

Is he crazy? Perhaps. Personally, I think he just knows that outrage media sells.

Crazy? Not likely.

He is carefully calibrated to sound out the official line of the "far-right." Not the fringe far-right, mind you, the actual 'official' location and line of the mainstream (if it’s even possible) far-right. Undoubtedly he rants and raves, to a bemused by stander he looks clinically insane. Yet if one looks closely at his rants, raves, there is a brutal ability to manage to wrangle in intelligent topics, while ‘coincidentally’ does his trademarked verbal adventures without stepping outside carefully sounded out lines.

He's a special, entirely too orchestrated, brand of crazy. He is so clearly the designated bag-man for claims that conservatives are 'crazy.' Instead of rolling their shoulders or offering up a weakly laugh most conservative can now point to Glenn Beck with a exclamation "I am not crazy! Look at him!" He is an intended icebreaker for the larger mainstream movement, taking the brunt of criticism while making - slowly, surely - the political spectrum gravitate towards his side.

If nothing else, if he was honestly crazy, he would've said something so outrageous even Fox News couldn't stand behind him.

I don't know which was more pathetic - the fact that people didn't realize this was an act or the TYT reporter's take on it. Of course this was taken out of context and the TYT reporter using "It's the same way with all conservatives..." clearly displays the obvious bias in the "report" (and I use that term very, very loosely). The poll was obviously slanted as well, but I'd expect no less from "evil non-conservatives"

No I do not think Glenn Beck is crazy.

Glenn Beck is absolutely hysterical. Although, I think this video is much funnier:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKyi2qNskJc"]YouTube - FOX NEWS reviews "The Coming Insurrection"[/ame]

He not only digs himself into a hole from which he can't escape (watch his verbal gymnastics at the end; it's pitiful/funny as hell), but he also gives air time to a pretty pointless piece of literature coming out of the French post-modernist left and also blows it out of proportion by explaining it as some kind of threat to civilization. It's absolutely hilarious!

...... if you say so .

...... if you say so .

If you really think that this pamphlet is anything more than post-modernist crap then you've never actually read it. You can read some of it here and see how crappy and pointless it is.

You have to admit that he does engage in some pretty bizarre behavior. The broadcast of his show on Fox News where he had the separate camera just focusing on his eyes was a little weird. The same goes for when he cries during his shows. I'm sure that most of it is for entertainment purposes, but it is still pretty bizarre.

No thank you, I'll read ALL OF IT and decide for myself on the matter.

When and where did you serve?

Ted, feels obligated to do USO tours, etc. What do you do?

FAIL

[edit] Military
An interviewer from the British newspaper The Independent questioned Nugent about a 1977 interview in High Times magazine in which Nugent allegedly detailed elaborate steps taken to avoid the Vietnam draft.[33]

"I got 30 days' notice of the physical," Nugent told them. "I ceased cleansing my body. Two weeks before the test I stopped eating food with nutritional value. A week before, I stopped going to the bathroom. I did it in my pants. My pants got crusted up." [33]

Nugent dismissed the veracity of these statements, saying "You've got to realize that these interviewers would arrive with glazed eyes and I would make stories up." He explained that he did not go to Vietnam because he had a one-year student deferment. When questioned, he admitted that he had "not wanted to get his ass blown off in Vietnam," but made note of a tour he made with the USO in 2004 to Fallujah and Afghanistan as support of his assertion that "I am not a coward." He also said that "Because I failed to serve in Vietnam, I feel an obligation now, to do everything I can to support those defending our freedom. Do I feel guilt and embarrassment? Yes."[33]

I hope he has some ppl who have his best interest in mind who will school him on getting a grip. Yea, so he has some clout to what he says, but acting like a raving lunatic will cancel out every valid argument a person has.

Ted Nugent is and has always been very adamantly anti-drug so I can definitely see why he would make up crazy **** to tell High Times magazine. That's hilarious.

I think he's the most annoying person I've ever seen via media. But crazy... I don't know. What he was saying in the video was pretty much what every conservative says with some screams added. I find the screaming annoying and can't imagine why anybody would find it amusing. If there were somebody I agreed with who acted like him, I'd wish he would shut up so he didn't make my positions seem idiotic by coming out of somebody who acts possessed.
