Do you ever knowingly break the law because you do not agree with that particular law?

Examples:

Speed limit is 25mph and you feel it should be faster so you knowingly let your self go faster then 25mph.

Or

You download movie torrents because you think movie makers shaft consumers.

Or

You open a beer on the drive home knowing you will not surpass the blood alcohol limit even tho you break the open container law.

Just some examples of what I know normal law abiding people occationaly do.

Um, well, yeah...all the time. Nothing major though.

I'll speed, for example. No drinking, though.

If I received a ticket for every time I've exceeded the speed limit (on the freeway, I generally keep it between 75 and 90 mph), my license would have been revoked long ago. :3oops:

You don't know what its like
you don't have a clue
if you did you'd find yourselfs
doing the same thing too

I will break minor laws but nothing major. In my youth I was a bit of a rouge and landed myself in the local jail a couple of times. But as I got older I wised up and also realized jail is no place for me.

That depends. Are you an undercover FBI agent?

I would guess that I break several laws on a daily basis.

Unfortunately you can't drive more then 150' without breaking some minor village ordinance etc.

So any of us who drive have probably broken some law countless times without even knowing it.

Yeah I speed all the time, like 5-10 mph over.

Today I even drove a car with expired tags

Jerry, I had no idea you were such a rebel!

Pretty much on a regular basis. At least weekly, not counting traffic or copyright violations. Been a few years since my last violent felony, but not so many that I want to discuss it in detail.

All the time. Not at much now as I used to, but that's not due to any sort of reform of my beliefs. ;)

I break whatever laws I don't agree with and feel I can get away with breaking.

Speeding
Downloading music, etc
Drugs
Prostitution
Drinking underage

yeah, pretty much whatever I don't agree with and can get away with

Yes.

I smoked Mary Jane for the first time simply because I think it should be legal and I wanted to **** the woman who gave it to me, not necessarily in that order.

I speed all the time because Western Australia's speed limits are so low if I followed them I would rip a hole in the space-time-continuum and return to a time when Western Australia had no laws.

I drink and drive because I think the alcohol limits are too low and because I am a drunk.

I use illegal physical force some times at my work because that is the only force that will work at my work.

And I take my trash out to the verge in the nude because I want all the desperate housewives to lust after me and I want no law preventing them from taking their trash out in the nude so I can watch.

Oh, and I would have shot JFK because I think LBJ was a more effective politician.

Crack a Bottle and Load the Bong! :) I am kidding

That's not an easy question to answer. I have not in my adulthood committed a Criminal Code offence, nor would I. I've probably committed numerous driving offences, knowingly and unknowingly. I absolutely hate the police and would prefer to no have them in my life.

Yeah so I murder a person here and then so ****ing what.

I used to shoplift a lot as a (younger!) kid. :doh Bad boy, I know!

I'm pretty good with the driving thing though, except I've once driven with passengers in the car, which is against the conditions of my licence (haven't got my Full Licence yet!). I'm too much of a nervous driver to go over the speed limit or not wear my seatbelt though.

Gee I wonder who will read this...

Same w/ rivvrat, whatever laws I don't agree with:

I smoke up 3 times a day
I drank before I was 21
I speed nearly everytime I'm on the highway
I used to street race on old dead end roads (very dangerous, poorly maintained)
I engaged in sex as a minor
I regularly practice oral sex
I drink alchohol on the beach
I smoke in the hotel bathroom
I engage in peer to peer file sharing
I tear the "Do Not Remove" tags
I drive with no front license plate
I stop a mile ahead of a police speed-trap or sobriety checkpoint and warn oncoming traffic
Oral sex while driving is illegal I'm sure, but **** that, public places FTW

I haven't ever had business with a prostitute, but I would not be morally opposed to it and have met quite a few I thought were far more interesting than any puritan I've met.
