I had to pick option 2, because option 1 was way over the top.

Hehe...I'm a wuss. When things are too spicy, I can't taste anything at all, just the sear.

Sriracha is my sauce of choice. Red Hot is alright as a base for a more complicated hot sause, but I don't like it straight. Sriracha is delicious on its own, and hotter to boot

I have a few friends who live on this stuff. Especially at Asian restaurants. I've had it on some rolls and wasn't too impressed. Maybe I'll give it another chance.

Ah, Buffalo wings, pirated and proliferated the same way as the Garbage Plate.

Uhm, you buffalo people had a bar that put wings in a fryer then dunked them in sauce....

You don't see mexicans bitching about nachos do you? :2razz::2razz::2razz:

Would have gone for #1 about 10 years ago. Now at my age acid reflux has put me down to a wussy medium.

There is a distinct difference between a dish which has been around long enough that no single member of a civilization may claim it as intellectual property and a dish which, having been tasted, gets lifted and served practically everywhere in a matter of years.

Just saying.

Nachos and Buffalo wings have the same exact history.

Basically, having to feed people stuff after hours or so, and taking something that is available and presenting it.

Anchor bar wings are good. Mine are better. ;)
