What do you guys want to accomplish in life? This can be anything from having your kids grow up and move out, gaining more then $1,000,000 in total net assets, dying at an age of 80...you name it

It may sound trite, but my goal in life is to raise my kids into responsible, honest, hard-working, good and loving human beings.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” ~Forest E. Witcraft

Helping as many people as I can...which is what I try to do every day. And my guess is that will lead to affecting the world positively...at least I hope it does.

To have a happy life and give my Mother some grandchildren before she dies.
I'd love for any work i do to affect others in a positive manner

My father taught me many lessons, but I still think the most important one was kinda on this topic. He would tell me that people tend to think that the problems of the world where too big for one person to make a difference, but that was the wrong way to look at things. if every day you set out to make the world a little better in some small way, it adds up. This philosophy showed best when we would stop at the local convenience store to grab a drink and sandwich. No matter how bad a day he was having, he always had a smile and a nice word for the person working there, making their day just a little better. They would in turn be more likely to treat the next customer nicely, and so on it went. One small act, making the world just a little better.

My mother now, she taught me about strength. Life through her more troubles than any one person should ever endure, and yet she got through the hard times, and is now happy and well off.

I think with that in mind, my goal in life is to be as much like my parents as possible. I never appreciated them enough, now dad is dead, and mom is in another state.

I have no goal.

The point of the journey is not to arrive.

I have forgotten the most important one. To one day visit the Galapagos Islands

To one day become 100% self sufficient in all aspects of life. I think todays society has lost much of this. So much of the time we work indirectly for what we need. I would like to see us go back to a more direct system.

I said changing the world positively... or my community positively.

And also other.

My real goal in life, is to be happy.

My goal is to live forever. I don't see it happening though.:(

Well, you technically can. If you can do something great, something really life changing, you will be remembered. It doesn't have to be something like become a Congressmen, or win the Olympics, but something like helping someone out in a time of need. I can guarantee you that person will remember you forever.

To see all 7 grandkids graduate from college, get married, make babies, in that order....;)

I don't want to be REMEMBERED forever, I want to LIVE forever. :2razz:

Not really. From my perspective, it would still be nothing.

Dying but going to hell would be better than nothing.

And I suppose dying and going to purgatory is better right? And then up from that is heaven? Well, lets ask around about that, "Excuse me sir, whene's the next flight to Heaven?"

To crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of the women.

To become the most powerful and respected person to ever live. Anything short of that is failure.

Yes, Conan...

I'm sorry, but, due to the economy and lack of passengers, Rapture Airlines has had to cancel all flights to Heaven. Service to Purgatory will not be affected, and we will be adding new routes to Hell in the very near future.

To retire at an early age to enjoy some fishing, wildlife, and nature.....

How about making America a truly FREE country -- ONCE AGAIN -- like our founding fathers envisioned?

My goal is to see, do, and experience all that I can.

I'm betting I define a "positive" change differently from many.

A positive change is a destruction of chains, not forging them anew.
