Concerned as I feel for the protestors and respect them for making a stand, something I feel we don't do often enough in this country. I'm not particularly concerned with our security because of it; I think the matter belongs with Iran itself.

Ahmadinejad, however, is just trying to poke us and annoy us with his comments about us interfering when we obviously haven't taken any aggressive action except 'condemn' the violence. He's an idiot and I think that's an almost universal belief.

I'm extremely worried for the people there, especially now that Khatami has called for protesters to be disciplined harshly, without mercy, and declared that the leaders are "worthy of execution".

I'm concerned enough to be keeping myself informed on all the developments.

What's happening in Iran? Are they upset over Michael? :(

I feel for the people there, but not much I feel we can do about it, and don't think it is in our interests to interfere.

My concern is that any ignition point in this area of the world is likely to spin out of control and grow in to a much larger conflict involving China, Russia or both requiring a strong response from us at a time we have little or no will to do much of anything by the White House by the Amateur in Chief who is involved in an on the job training program he's getting a low D in so far.

Not very, not as far as our safety in the US is concerned. There is no reason to fear a pissant, especially when the one implied here does not have nuclear weapons.

And not for fear of another rash military reaction on our part. We don't have a president now who will invade a foreign country (at least I hope not) just because its leader is belligerent.

The concern for me, now, is the treatment of the protesting Iranian people. Of course the current protests will be stifled by the government there, but I hope few people die. The other concern is that the people will stop protesting because of the government's actions, and life there returns to 'normal,' with no change for the better.

I'm very concerned, but also hopeful in a way. If recent events in Iran can provide the impetus for meaningful change, then Iran stands to be transformed. There is a strong core of people are well educated, technically savvy, and harboring no particular ill will towards the west, so if these peopel can develop a real movement for change, that change could only be good compared to the trogdolytes currently in power.

Many things concern me. I really do hope everything calms down, but at this point there is so much conflict that I think we might be headed for another war. Iran is corrupt, North Korea is making missile threats. What else do we need for a war?

I am very concerned. I believe that a post nuclear Iran will be a grave threat to the world as long as the evil men who are in charge remain so.

BTW I agree MJ was extreamly talented performer and a true icon. With that being said, his passing IMO is taking up to much media time which would be better spent on issues of importance.
