Presidents and secret clubs?

Should we ban anyone being involved in secret groups from the Presidency?

Bunch of shallow thought morons.........enablers........this is why the masses are easily manipulated.

Shallow thought morons?

Is that the best you can do? At least we've given you the decency of what you yourself never do... thought. Albeit shallow and full of piranhas, your conspiracy theories are nothing more than theories. Thusly, once you are able to substantiate your claim with anything other than speculation... we may give you some deeper thought-- It's doubtful though, as we're morons.

Do you care to tell us why you so ignorantly, rudely, and jerkishly decided to just blatantly insult every person in here that disagree's with you? Perhaps explain why you think we're so wrong? Or do you have no good answer so you'll sling pathetic juvinile insults around while rolling your eyes as we all have a good laugh at your transparent attempts in this thread?

For example, every President that was part of a Fraternity:

Hayes
Garfield
Arthur
Harrison
McKinley
Teddy Roosevelt
Taft
Wilson
Coolidge
FDR
Truman
Eisenhower
Kennedy
Ford
Reagan
Bush
GWB

And justt for ****s and giggles, all those reportedly that were freemasons.

George Washington
James Monroe
Andrew Jackson
James Polk
James Buchanan
Andrew Johnson
James Garfield
William McKinley
Theodore Roosevelt
Howard Taft
Warren Harding
Franklin Roosevelt
Harry Truman
Gerald Ford

And that's not even counting if any were parts of the Knights of Columbus or some other kind of "group". Even with that though, that's over half the Presidents, ranging from heroes of both parties, that were members of "secret" organizations...dating all the way back to the very first.

Frankly, I think we've progressed pretty fine without any indication its all being controlled by some magical imaginary men from behind.

It is actually being controlled by a giant spider. I saw it on South Park.;)

For that matter, couldn't the US Military and/or a corporate boardroom be considered secret clubs? They have plenty of secrets that they don't share with outsiders, I'm sure.

Methinks those Little Rascals might have black-balled Creative Dreams from joining the Women Haters Club again.

So mote it be.

After this post, do you have to wonder why no one takes you seriously?

Can I finish up with the cheese and hookers before I send them back to you?

You can have them. I know where to find them. I market them like a... llikkkeeeeeeee a pimp to a hooker.

Should threre be a ban on allowing anyone become President that is proven to be a member of a secret group like "Skull and Bones" or whatever.

I believe that being involved in secret groups other than official American Politics opens the door for our government to be infiltrated and manipulated.

What are your thoughts?

Wasn't George Washington a Mason? Nah, I think we've done pretty well with allowing Presidents to belong to fraternities.
Every little kid wants to belong to some unique organization. It's neat. And since all the Prez's so far have been men, that kind of childishness :cowboy: carries over into adult life with a lot of other useless bagage.
What harm could it do?:fueltofir

Do you think it's childish that a unique organization saves the lives of thousands of children, worldwide? How USELESS is it to donates MILLIONS of dollars EVERY DAY to benevolent causes and do charitable works within our own communities as QUIETLY as we can?

Do you think George Washington was childish?

If you do think we are childish, that's ok. No, really. It's ok. If it bothered us what other people thought, would be be puttin' around at all the parades like this?

Nobody makes as much fun of us as we make of ourselves. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, in our "secret" moments,, if your child is barely clinging to life, and needs our help, just call. I won't matter that you laughed at us. We'll be there for you anyways.

The Constitution is quite clear on the qualifications for POTUS. Article 2 Clause 5:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

If being a member of a secret society was a game changer than George Washington wouldn't have been allowed be POTUS as he was a freemason.

You do realize that this restriction would have meant that anyone who was opposed to slavery and was a part of the Underground Railroad wouldn't have been allowed to be president.
