Well, I think the majority of Americans are of the worst combination: arrogance and ignorance.
Things are surely taking some bad turns when our own president isn't happy with us
Works for me.That's what impeachments are for.

Oh, snap! I concur.Scarecrow Akhbar said:Obama got elected, didn't he?
Obama on his US World Apology tour, recently stated that we are an arrogant country.
Questions:
Are we?
So much of the reporting was just wrong. In the end the people of New Orleans figured out that we had a completely dysfunctional state that needed fixing.Politics.
Unfortunately you'll never escape it.
Take, for instance, Hurricane Katrina. If you asked most people, they'd tell you the government's response was a disaster. The truth is that the the rescue of civilians in New Orleans was one of the greatest civilian rescue operations in human history. Ever. Unfortunately, politics came into play almost immediately. And what should have been a positive story of human courage and empathy quickly turned ugly... a battle of finger pointing and blame that served partisan goals.
It's always amazing how people twist quotes. "Obama calls America arrogant to European Elites!"
The actual quote:
“Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive. But in Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual, but can also be insidious. Instead of recognising the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what is bad."
Well that's pretty accurate and appropriate.
Politics.

If that's an example of arrogance, you and Dear Leader need to switch to a different dictionary.
Gee duuuhh, I'd have never guessed who would be part of the Hate America Club.Obama on his US World Apology tour, recently stated that we are an arrogant country.

What do you think of Obama's statements?
My lecture continues:
Now, some who have quoted my previous post have tried to defend their own posts by saying that the President's saying of his remarks are unpatriotic.
People who automatically label anything that our representatives say about the U.S. in a negative tone are amplifying the situation greatly.
It is anti-American to badmouth your own country especially if it done on foreign soil.
No where in the history of the world is calling someone arrogant a compliment.
As president on the USA he is supposed to pretend to at least be patriotic not toss the salad of people who don't like us.

What do you think of Obama's statements?
Two words. Biden and Pelosi. :shock:That's what impeachments are for.
Well, that just shows how narrow-minded you are!
The last time I checked Obama represents the American people,he has no businesses saying anything bad about the people he represents. This is just what I was talking about. I was JUST talking about how arrogant Americans can be when they talk about arrogance.
Can you not listen to yourself? What you posted is like saying "admitting a mistake is evil." I suppose people like you will never change.
The last time I checked Obama represents the American people,he has no businesses saying anything bad about the people he represents.
So I guess you would think Bush 41 should not have said this:
"I don't know that atheists should be considered citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God."
After all atheists are citizens too.
Oh no Bush said i,t so now I guess I have to change my mind on the subject.sarcasm
