Excerpt from a great column ('Obama Discredits Himself in Record Time'):

Americans are already realizing what an outrageous scam they fell for in November...

Most now know that Obama was lying through his teeth when he denied the existence of any pork whatsoever in a bill provably composed of nearly nothing else.[1] Only 26% now think Obama is taking this country in the right direction.[2] The more they learn about what Democrats are trying to do and how we got into this mess in the first place, the more they reject Democrats on the economy.[3] As usual, they want what Republicans want-tax cuts, coupled with spending cuts.[4]

Imagine a Republican "reformer" responding to a recession by trying to violently shove a massive spending increase through Congress before anyone could seriously examine it, due to its "job-creating" provisions, such as:

-$5.2 billion for the Swift Boat Vets,
-$56 billion for corporate tax breaks,
-$4 billion for Exxon and BP,
-$89 billion to privatize Medicare,
-$300 million for grants to fight black on white crime,
-$15 billion for ivy league colleges,
-$600 million to convert the federal auto fleet to SUVs,
-$1 billion to research alternative theories to global warming...you get the picture.

So the question is, which of the following violate Barack Obama's pledge to bring "change," choose "hope over fear," get rid of the lobbyists and partisanship, and ditch the "failed policies of the past?"

"Fear-mongering"...

During the last month, Lexis Nexis shows the following results...

"Obama said" and "crisis": more than 3,000 hits.
"Obama said" and "catastrophe": 442 hits.
"Obama said" and "Great Depression": 803 hits.

Only 26% now think Obama is taking this country in the right direction.

If the rest think this is bad, wait until Carter the IInd has all this porkzilla crap implemented.

The ones that stood out most to me are:

1.Pushing unprecedented amounts of pork through Congress while lying about it

2. Surrounding himself with partisan attack dogs, tax cheats, and lobbyists

and

7. Incessantly fear-mongering people into tolerating socialist power grabs and constituent payoffs

I had a question about this statement:

*Politicizing the Census Bureau for partisan gain

I may have missed something here but why do you believe he is politicizing it and for what partisan gain?

He's removing it from where it has always been-in the Commerce Department-to the White House, where he can easily manipulate (lies, damn lies, and statistics) how the population is counted with little scrutiny. This directly affects House Districting and is the equivalent of adding new gerrymandering powers to the Oval Office. The Census is supposed to be an independent function free from partisanship, but the corrupt left-wing extremist we've elected is now using it to irreversibly entrench Democrats and their socialist ideas for decades to come.

Apparently this is "change."

Contrary to everything Democrats ran on, they are making government more corrupt and less accountable than ever (see also, Republicans being stripped of basic minority rights in Congress that have existed for almost as long as the republic).

As for the union thing, Obama has already signed 4 executive orders expanding their power, the most recent of which stated that all "large federal projects must negotiate with union contractors, recognize union wages and benefits, and abide by collective bargaining agreements...". This will needlessly add billions to the cost of everything we do while ensuring that it is done in the most inefficient, incompetent manner imaginable. It is their special interest favor for being his number 1 campaign contributor.

Is this change we can believe in?

This "stimulus" package also includes tax breaks for the rich...rich liberals that is. Hollywood producers and filmmakers get a $246 million tax break for worshipping at the alter of the Messiah. This is the ultimate hypocrisy for someone whose entire agenda revolves around redistributing the wealth.

Good thing Obama's going to "clean up Washington."

Now that the greater depression has begun, how many of you are hearing those taunting words, "I told you so?"

Your posing a false dilemma in this question, as to vote one must accept what you are saying as true. Yet none of your choices have any truth to them, but are only partisan spin of the truth. You are looking through a prism rather than a clear lens and framing the question so that all answers reach the conclusion you want.
