Horses through ice..

Are these people morons for putting the horses on the ice?

Video isn't working for me. If they fall in, then yes, they are dumb. They should have checked how deep the ice is before anyone went out on it. If they didn't fall in then the ice is obviously thick enough. Where I leave people ice fish and there can be hundreds of people, ice shacks, and large pickup trucks on the ice at the same time and in a close vicinity, definitely more weight than those horses could have and in the same area.

Really? What message or stuff happens when you play the video? Its a Norwegian page, perhaps thats why, but strange even so.. I was utterly annoyed and angered when I saw the video, so the thread is just an angry first response to what happened.

It just wouldn't load.

On looking at it yes, they are dumb. They should have checked the ice before going out on it themselves, much less bringing animals out there.

Its awful, isn't it? My reaction was just deep shock and tons of questions..

Why the heck did they bring the horses out on that ice in the first place? And so many of them? And so close to each others.

I just hated what I saw. When they are so dumb it borders to animal abuse.

Animal cruelty.. Those horses looked like they were resigned to their own fate. I think no one was hurt in the end.. But watch the 2 first minutes of the video, it will show you all of the relevant action.
