No, its inconsistant because...its inconsistant.

Moving on, I'll follow suit with Hautey.

I'll have to say, while a bit of a "modern classic" I've always had a soft spot for the Sydney Opera House

Also, for something a bit more local to me, the design for my somewhat small coastal colleges new Art complex was pretty neat I thought, put up just before I left. The arches were neat and they used just enough windows to make it look elegant while not making it look gawdy I thought

I really don't like the rendering image of the Freedom Tower

freedom-tower-1.jpg

For the same reason I wasn't a big fan of the NK picture, I don't like the shiny, large, consistant use of windows. I do LIKE windows, and the right use of htem can be great, but its just way to damn much. Indeed, one of the only extremely glass structures I like is the LUXOR in Las Vegas, and I think its in part because its the dark glass.

I'm a sucker for classics, which is why I always prefered the Empire State Building over the WTC. The look of it was much more classical, and I loved the way it almost looks like a concrete water fall with the different portions jutting out of it. It blended a good amount of concrete, steel, and windows to make it really work.

I think the modern trend to go shiny and at funky angles is a downgrade in architectual design as far as aesthetics go. I like the more flowing curves, or square right angles, than these strange diamond cut things of shiny glass.

(Yes I know the opera house is kind of going at funky angles, but its not bright and shiny, and as I said I have a soft spot for it)

You people can say that I said a bunch of things that I did not say. You can do it all day long, but that doesnt mean I said it except in your own heads.

We don't have to pretend you said anything you didn't say.

If this building was American people would have reacted in a completely different way.

Seems like people here cannot overlook the fact that the building is North Korean..

These two threads have turned out to prove something completely different actually. You Americans have to over complicate everything. You cant even understand a simple question. How ridiculous its to see all you people just refusing to get out of a uniform way of thinking and just drowning out the obvious facts that you are all biased and have a real difficult time admitting anything that goes beyond your nationalistic uniform indoctrinated way of thinking about things.

Thats what these threads have proved, not that you are biased against a North Korean building which looks greater than its American counterpart.

When you see the glass covered North Korean building you all talk about shabby concrete which is behind, but when you see a concrete American building you talk of its like its the 7th wonder of the world.

Wow, these threads really are amazing.

No, its definetely because you do not understand the context, or in general do not understand it.

Jesus. Cry much?

We saw your game, didn't want to play, turned it around on you, and now you're yelping like wounded dog about it.

You're going to have to develop a thicker skin if you want your revolutionary movement to get anywhere. See, by the way, Roderick Spode.

I said those things that you quoted yes. That doesnt prove anything but your own harrasment in this thread, and me having to explain this thread again and again, even if its an easy question to understand..

And yes, this thread do prove all those things in my quote, yet that was not my intention when I posted this thread. It was simply to see if you think the empire state building is a nice/cool building...

And yes, there is a reason I wrote America and North Korea in highlighted text. I also wanted to see if you people were biased against the building because its North Korean or biased in favor of the American one. Congrats mister genius detective for figuring that out

Maybe you suck at explaining it.

Not really. Perhaps its because you people are wildly offended by these posts and go ranting on about unrelated things to make yourself feel better about not being able to answer an incredibly easy question.

It didnt need much explanation, just a picture and a question..

Its not a game. Its a question.. And congrats to you for figuring out that the building being in North Korea or America mattered in the question..

Mr Genious detective award goes to........ Hershaw for detecting the bold text. :applaud

I'd ROFL this, but you genuinely do not understand what you just did here, do you?

I do not understand no, what you think that I just did there in your own little perspective and your own little world.. Please explain it..

OK, NOW I can ROFL.

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

I cannot expose you for any more of a fool than that which you just did for yourself.

(By the way, to make it easy on you, what you did is called "self-contradiction.")

There's no work left to be done here. Over and out.

Seriously Hack, just learn when to walk away when you're sure you've won. Continuing it on doesn't do anything but then just make you look like you're trying to argue for arguements sake. What's going on with Max is evident to just about everyone save for himself, so there's no reason to go further with it becuase he's not going to get it.

I'd say you'd want to do it so others realize what he was up to, but people realized the game he was playing starting from the LAST thread he posted, let alone this one.

Its not self contradiction at all..

I never denied that the tiny text above the picture did matter.. But this thread is mainly to see if you think the building is nice, and the text is intended to see if it clouds your judgment.. Its not a game nor any of the silly things you talk about in this thread, and all my responses in this thread(to you) is just to play you around for my own pleasure..

You are the one coming into this thread with absurd claims to harass me, so I just play you around and have fun with you, yet non of the things contradict themselves anywhere except in your own little world where you have a bunch of assumptions connected with my postings.

This will be the tallest building in Louisiana in downtown New Orleans. Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is generally a sour moron... That building however is rather nice, nothing special though.

This is one of the coolest buildings IMO. It's in Prague:

This is the forefront of Norwegian architecture, our very best.. But in my opinion not really worth being our "crown jewel".. It looks fabulous compared to the rest of Oslo however.. But we need to do better.

I like how the roof is utilized.

Well, at least you can admit that you do make assumptions about people.

No, not really. I don't usually do that.

Even if I think some people on this forum are complete morons, I still read what they write and debate it in a proper way without judging his text based on my opinion about the person. I never assume what they write is wrong, just because they belong to the far right, or are communists, or NAZIs or whatever.
I don't assume things, generally, no..

That's a pretty cool building.

If you werent so narrow minded and anti-non-uniform way of thinking you would see that the thread asks a very simple question.. Apparently its too complicated for you.

I dont ask about the sears towers, but the empire state building, how difficult is that for you to understand? Perhaps over complicated for you to process?
