I have bought through amazon a few times, but there are other places with better prices and so fourth, which takes a shorter time to ship..

But often when I look for special items, I can only find them at amazon, and thats when I use it.

I've bought used text books from there before, much cheaper than the college book stores. Shipping time varies though, I had one book that took 3 weeks to ship. Most I got within a week.

I buy all my books from Amazon, use it quite often

I use Amazon all the time. This past Christmas the vast majority of gifts came from Amazon. It takes the hassle out of shopping.

I've never really used the internet to buy anything.

Amazon is really a one-stop shop for most things these days, it's usually easier to buy through them since they can bundle it together, give you free shipping, and they are reliable. For the past couple of years, most of my Christmas shopping has come from Amazon and most people that I give gift cards to usually prefer Amazon cards.
