He did not say that, he said this:
You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package
Yes, I know.

So, he's telling the Repblicans they cannot be conservatives and expect to 'get things done'.

Which would make sense, considering Obama is not a conservative and is under the impression that he is getting things done.

I have listened to him before, something I'll be sure not to repeat. I've also listened to the liberal version. They both suck and should be paid no attention in my opinion. I just find it funny how some of you defend him and get touchy when he's insulted.

Meh, seems you are the one "touchy" here.

:2wave:

You must really love the guy, all I did was question your "messiah" and you're all over me. Seriously, do you really want a 400lb fat guy....
Falling back on the ad homs, eh? Ran out of valid criticisms that quickly, eh?
BTW... your talking point are out of date -- Rush hasn't been that heavy for quite some time.

who most agree...
Only if "most" means the population of the DU -- where, incidentally, they don't allow dissent.

So much for the bi-partisanship He promised.

Well, if Democrats are incapable of seeing Rush for who he is (which is obviously the case considering the absurd petition they started) then yes, they are better off ignoring him because they only end up looking foolish in the end.

I disagree. Democrats should encourage Rush Limbaugh to speak out and as often as possible. Rush speaks for the right-wing GOP and the more people know about Rush's ideas and the ideas of the GOP the better it is for Democrats.

Yes, he should be ignored. Just as liberal pundits should.

Of course, they ARE good for a bit of entertainment once in a while. And cracking jokes at their expence...

Rush has fallen out though. Not even SNL bothers with him anymore.
