Limbaugh is a legend in his own mind, just listen to him and he can't stop talking about how wonderful he is. He's more of a laughing stock than anything else.
That scrawny president Obama couldn't debate Limbaugh and win.

Liberals are scared to death of Rush Limbaugh, that's why they insult him and are trying to shut him up. They are scared, scared, scared. You know it, and you know who you are. ******s!

"docs"?

You mean doctored reality films? yeah he is king of that and krispey cremes

Yes, just like Rush spews lies, half-truths, misinformation and innuendo from his radio pulpit.

BTW, seems like Rush has been digging into those Krispy Kremes, too. Gotta find a replacement for his other addiction, since Oxy is hard to get these days. :rofl

You strike me as a ditto head. It's unfortunate that you let him pollute your mind.

1. he was fat before the oxy thing. oh well...

2. perscription drug addiction is not the same as snorting coke for fun, like our president has in the past. ;)

3. hard to get? when you are rich, doctors will perscribe you what ever you want. see you could give the man credit for overcoming his addiction... but no.. he is right wing, so attack away..... :2wave:

This thread asked if he was a conservative giant.... lets address that.

1. he was fat before the oxy thing. oh well...

But he's fatter now, it seems.

2. perscription drug addiction is not the same as snorting coke for fun, like our president has in the past. ;)

You really shouldn't be knocking Dubya like this. He's already taken a beating for it.

3. hard to get? when you are rich, doctors will perscribe you what ever you want. see you could give the man credit for overcoming his addiction... but no.. he is right wing, so attack away..... :2wave:

I'd give him more credit if he wasn't such a hypocrite.

This thread asked if he was a conservative giant.... lets address that.

I'd say he's as much as a giant as Moore on the left.

Jerry Springer had the #1 talk show for years.

Wow, I guess that makes him a talk show GIANT!

Michael Moore is the king of docs. No one comes close to sales revenue.

Wow, I guess that makes him the doc GIANT!
Well all you gotta do is mention Limbaugh and along comes Ms. Middleground.

Last heard from worrying about the kind of news the uniformed listeners of Limbaugh are getting. Worried about how uninformed and “brainwashed” the Limbots and people who listen to “talk radio” are supposed to be.

Much like trying to compare Springer to Limbaugh, she narry lets a modern fact get in her way.

So as is always the case with Middleground, allow me to bring up a few pertinent facts.

Dear Middleground,
For your purposes add up the entire financial worth of Michael Moore and Jerry Springer over their entire lifetime and career. Then lump them together and compare that sum just to Limbaugh’s last reported contract/salary agreement. Don’t add a penny earned before he signed his last contract nor after. Ignore those millions and only add the most resent contracted salary and profits. If you do this and are honest about it I will understand why you may be too embarrassed to come back here and admit how dumb your argument looks.

Then do the same thing with the so called “influence” of Moore and Springer and compare them to Limbaugh’s. I won’t hold my breath waiting for you to show up and declare you have now educated yourself on this matter and won’t be caught making such specious claims in the future.

In the other Limbaugh thread, you never showed up to address or acknowledge how specious your comments were. Maybe you should, you might learn something. Or maybe you should step boldly into 2009 and take a look at the demographic data related to your stated “concerns” about the “news” talk radio listeners are getting and who they are. You see your arguments resemble the kind of arguments trotted out about Limbaugh and “talk radio” in the early 1990’s. Now here in 2009 we know just how uninformed and bad the news you are getting is. So naturally those of us who spend time listening to talk radio and news find it funny you’re about two decades years behind in yours.

As long as you are unembarrassed to keep posting debunked arguments, some of the more informed posters about here will be amused. To say the least. In fact seems to illustrate what "brainwashed" actually means.;)

Love,
Sir Loin

Yet we sit around talking about him

Hey, I'm just responding to a poll, he deserves as much discussion as any of the self-involved whinebags on the left do... absolutely zero.

I occasionally catch his show on the radio if I'm in the car at the wrong time of day and just listening to him blather on about his "talent on loan from God" just makes me more convinced that God, if he exists, is a completely talentless hack.

Please point out where Rush is not a Conservative.....

He's a neo-conservative. Conservativism is something the Republican party abandoned back in the late 1970s.

That scrawny president Obama couldn't debate Limbaugh and win.

Only in the sense that Limbaugh wouldn't stop his own self-masturbatory nonsense long enough to let Obama get a word in edgewise. Limbaugh is the #1 party koolade drinker, anything that falls outside of his extremely narrow view of reality simply doesn't exist as far as he's concerned.

But he's fatter now, it seems.

 imagine if you were this critical of Obama, you might just appear "middleground".... ;)

Really? so he never goes against the republican status quo?

Generalities and ambiguity is not pointing out how he is not a conservative.

How is he a neocon?

What does this have to do with anything? He's nothing but a blowhard lying and misinforming jerk. So he makes a gazillion (none of it comes from me, that's for sure!). Does that make him more informed than all others?

Then do the same thing with the so called “influence” of Moore and Springer and compare them to Limbaugh’s. I won’t hold my breath waiting for you to show up and declare you have now educated yourself on this matter and won’t be caught making such specious claims in the future.

Influence? All I wrote was that Moore is the king of docs (no one comes close to reeling in the money that he has) and that Springer was the king of talk show for many, many years. Are you going to deny this?
So, in your eyes, does that make their work worthy because of their revenue and popularity? It doesn't with me.

In the other Limbaugh thread, you never showed up to address or acknowledge how specious your comments were.

I don't reply to posts that are not respectful. Take a look at what you wrote. I just jumped ship because I didn't want to deal, if you want the honest truth.

Maybe you should or maybe you should step boldly into 2009 and take a look at the demographic data related to your stated “concerns” about the “news” talk radio listeners are getting and who they are. You lost me here.

Love you too, Sweets.

Rep. Phil Gingrey called Rush "a conservative giant and one of the 'voices of the conservative movement's conscience.'"

Do you agree with Rep. Phil Gingrey?

Considering the fact he has a highly rated conservative talk radio show I would have to say Phil Gingrey is right.

Edmund Burke is a Conservative giant. Disraeli is a Conservative giant. Micheal Oakeshott is a Conservative giant. Robert Nisbet is a Conservative giant.

Limbaugh is political journalist who I personally think has little of importance to say.

...yes and maybe because the liberal media likes pinning Rush to Conservatives' heads....
they'd rather talk about that then the fact that Michael Phelps was just caught for taking marijuana....And I thought I actually liked that guy...

Are you surprised? It wouldn't surprise me at all of Phelps has used Marijuana more than a dozen times.

Its too bad that the third option on this poll is simply an option of personal preference towards Limbaugh, rather than a confirmation or repudiation of his status.

Without going into any detail, it is possible to masturbate someone else, you know.

Well then we can make the argument he mastubates his audience.
