Obama to Repeat FDR's Scam

What was odd about FDR is that traditionally democrats had been against big federal government. FDR blew that out of the water though.

There is a big communication problem where Democrats and Republicans are on the political scale.

Democrats are more like bottom up socialists where as Republicans are top down socialists.

The rhetoric they spew is enough to fool most people on how similar they are.

It's only confusing to people who don't pay attention. Corrupted Republican elites are the only ones who are anything like Democrats. The rest of us (the vast majority) actually advocate following the Constitution instead.

Seriously most Republican and Democrat senators and representatives are ignorant, stupid or corrupt.

My rep is a hell of a nice guy but he was out in front pushing that Medicare garbage and getting everyone signed up for it. He is a prominent Republican to.

They only care about getting elected and most people want more government so that is what they will give them.

I'm guessing this is supposed to be a slam on Palin's intelligence...as opposed to that of the far less experienced president we now have who thinks there are 57 states, can't tell which committees he's sat on, can't count past 12, and contradicts himself at every turn?

Yeah, real well thought out. :2wave:

Like I always say, liberals have 3 responses to intellectual engagement:

1) You're mean.

2) You're stupid.

3) You're a homo.

Congratulations. :applaud

You've chosen number 2.

And you know what they say about people that cannot take a joke. I guess you're all three. Congratulations. Don't try to act like you are an intellect.

I know, that humor pisses me right the **** off too!

How dare people make fun or light of a situation or person! DAMN THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you would ummm... like it to be... umm.. fair, Aquapub! I ummm.. I would be glad. Umm I would be glad to make light of President Obama, as well.

Obama was glorified and asked how he felt about his parents while Joe Biden's non-stop falsehoods were completely buried and Sarah Palin was bombarded with elaborate policy questions to make her look stupid.

Setting the record straight, now that the media has propagandized an anti-white Socialist bigot with zero experience and his plagiarist into the White House, is important, as future generations need to understand that this election was the greatest scam in U.S. history. Sorry if the perpetuation of such unwarranted smears against Palin's intelligence lead to unexpected indignation from those of us so royally screwed over by the news media, but people need to know.

Yes, even Republicans are not conservative enough. The solution is to tighten the leash, as we did with amnesty.

:rofl

Don't try to act like I am an intellect? You might want to learn how to speak English if you are going to call other people stupid.

What on Earth would make you think conservatives here would find it funny for you to further perpetuate a bogus smear that helped cost us a critical election for this country's future.

Yeah, we're just a real stick in the mud, us conservatives.

You're reading way too far into the comments made Mr. Pubby.

The point is, "If you can't laugh at it..."

Palin's intelligence was questioned because of the coverage sure... she just stole Obama's thunder, that's all.

She didnt prepare herself very well, and that's no ones fault but her own. Made for good comedy, just like Obama's way of speaking, 57 states, and seemingly non existant "light" side did.

Once again, the point is, jokes are jokes. Calm the **** down.

Your entire party "cost you" the election.

They chose a ****TY front man and a ****TY sidekick (imo) Blame the GOP, not the American citizens.

:rofl

You should learn who called whom stupid first. Goes with being an intellect. Obviously, my English is just fine, if you understood what I said. It's the joke you do not seem to get.

Oh, and shut up.

I'm perfectly calm. The problem is that Palin prepared herself more than enough for the level of treatment Obama got. But she wasn't treated anything like Obama or Biden. She was raked over the coals to manufacture an incurable impression that would, at least partly, cost one side the election.

Sorry if that's not amusing to those of us screwed over by it.

Post 45. YOU brought up intelligence, not me. And I never called you stupid. You're the one who needs to calm down and start thinking here. And no, telling someone they "are not an intellect" is not English, it's semi-literate gibberish.

She was an easy target. ARguing that is just silly.

EASY+TARGET

Attacking people with the "audacity" to make fun suggests that you are.

Just sayin' :2wave:

It in no way suggests that I blame the American people. I would never do that. I see them as the victims here. It's their paychecks, jobs, freedom, and communities that are going to be destroyed by this. I attribute the greatest scam in U.S. history to the news media, and to a lesser degree, Republicans, for inadequately fighting back.

So was Obama, and Biden was an easier target than Palin and Obama combined.

Obama was an excellent speaker (for the most part) he was able to gain a pass from the American people.

Biden is old news. He's always been a loud mouth bully.

Palin was relatively new meat to the general public eye. It made her more appealing to pick apart.

What makes you think the American people victimized themselves?

The options were presented. After 8 years of GWB what makes you think Americans want another elected official as easy to pick apart and face-palm at?

Unfortunately the GOP picked ****ty candidates. That's what that all boils down to.

Obama was an excellent speaker (for the most part) he was able to gain a pass from the American people.

Because he was given a pass by the news media, sure, hence my point.

Biden is old news. He's always been a loud mouth bully.

He's a perpetual gaffe machine. He, like Obama, has made racial statements that would see any non-Democrat railroaded from office and once told a man in a wheelchair to stand up and be recognized. He's by far, the easiest target for ridicule among the candidates.

So no, your excuse here doesn't fly.

Palin was relatively new meat to the general public eye. It made her more appealing to pick apart.

Obama was new meat. Sorry, try again.

The difference is that Sarah Palin was a threat to Democrat power.

What makes you think the American people victimized themselves?

How is the news media systematically misinforming Americans into voting for someone they disagree with on nearly everything a case of the American people victimizing themselves?

The options were presented.

The options were distorted, wildly.

After 8 years of GWB what makes you think Americans want another elected official as easy to pick apart and face-palm at?

Anyone is easy to pick apart when you propagandize against them relentlessly. With an iota or two of balanced coverage, this would have been an entirely different race. Even if McCain had not won, he would've gotten more than a mere 48% of the vote.

Unfortunately the GOP picked ****ty candidates. That's what that all boils down to.

Well, that and relentless partisan propaganda from people pretending to deliver legitimate political news, sure.

It's easy to blame the media.

Just remember, the media broadcasts what will bring them the best ratings.

Obama was new to the scene, so was Palin. The difference? Obama was a smoothe speaker. Palin was not.

You are putting way too much effort into making it look like the media is the only thing that effects peoples opinions.

People liked to watch Palin blunder. So, the media delivered, we ate it up. End of story.
