Who is the best "Smacker" here at DP?
This is a DP Wide thing. Smack takes place everywhere...

Smack can be logical, it can be emotional, it can be short, reasoned, dry or flat out crude.

Although I think I am good, I also put myself in hesitantly hoping people would find it funny.

I actually don't think that I am the best. I am good at circular debate and such, but some others are better at pure smack than I.

How can you leave out people like Jmak and Reverend_hellhound? Perhaps they do not do it on purpose, but they sure as hell talk a lot of smack often at the cost of real talk.. But then again they would all loose to..

Tucker's probably the funniest person around(only because he's a guy), but he doesn't really do alot of smack. I'd say it goes to IT, since he incorporates intelligence, humor, and MS Paint with his smack, without having it read like gutter humor.
 
Sheer scathing smack-mastery belongs to jallman. He can cut someone to the b.o.n.e. in 10 syllables or less. Sometimes it makes my eyes burn--like reading it is to subject oneself to a high velocity acid spray. It hurts. --even when directed at someone else.:eek:
 
Tucker's the funniest, but what he does isn't smack.
Lerxst is the best at smack, but he's inconsistent.
IT tries the hardest, and is more consistent.
Jallman and Hatuey both have their moments.
I voted for myself, because, of course, I'm me, and I owe myself loyalty.
Besides, it looks like I'm winning, and I like to play the winning ticket.

But actually, the "Best at DP Smack" is a person who is not listed in the poll.
The best of the best is - wait for it- TOJ.

And I think that "smack" needs to be defined more clearly, especially if one is referring to upstairs posts, also. Would a "smack post" be a humorous one-liner that disarms another posters argument, or would it be a logical post that completely dismantles a posters argument? Or could it be either?

Also, would this be different from Best at DP Debate?

Personally I think it could be either a "one liner that disarms another posters argument", or a completely illogical way of debating(with name calling, forgetting of context, pointing to completely irrelevant parts of the post and continue talking about that, spinning, trolling and such things) that ruins the thread in general. I would say both are smack talk, wouldn't you? :mrgreen:
