why would an advanced alien not? us being the ants of course
 
I figure they would come peacefully than we would **** it up and they would get hostile

I would assume that they would be capable of recognizing intelligence, since we have technology and civilization unlike most other species. We might be the bottom rung on the intelligence hierarchy, but I think they'd be able to differentiate between humans and, say, giraffes.

Then how do you explain the millions of people on Earth that have claimed to see UFO, greys, E.T.'s e,tc? Als9o what about the thousands of folks that claim to have been abducted? Far too many have accounts of these things for it to be untrue? :2razz:
 
I hope that we can all separate between the near-certainty that intelligent life exists somewhere else in the universe, and the near-impossibility that any of the tabloid conspiracy theories about alien abductions and UFO sightings are true. ;)
 
By the time anybody figured out how to get here they would be a kind of civilized that would have no sort of evil or greed. They would want to give to us.

Shirley, you exaggerate, the numbers of sightings are not that large, there are only a few stories that get repeated a lot....:2razz:
Any aliens arriving here are likely to take our mineral wealth, our most attractive women, and our fattest sheep, and then leave...:2razz:

How did you come to that conclusion? What if they wanted some resource and it was easier to annihilate us in the click of a button rather than ask?

Unless the race you speak of visited a place alot like earth. Earth zapped um. Reverse engineered. And started the Imperial Army. Mix in a little terminator technology we got floatin around. Along with a Islamic Jihad secretly infultrating the alien race at the same time making them ensure the doom of their democratic society all but certian. And Bush will offer them relief aid with big starship battle cruisers.

And the only thing that will save the universe from them mutually ensured total destruction will be by introducing them to marijuana and giving them the complete Telitubbies dvds.

They would have figured out resource needs long before they figured out time travel. They would take resources from barren planets.

Intelligent life is very rare in the universe and they last thing they would want to do is destroy it.

But humans are badly developed. Eventually in our development as a human race we will untite in the realization that peace among humans are the ONLY viable solution, the only smart thing, that non-peace is holding us back.

Therefor I think any aliens will be peaceful unless they are as underdeveloped as our race is and have by lucky coincidence found a way into space with their masses. If there are aliens, they are far away, thereby the odds getting better and better that they are peaceful(because their development must be better because of their distance to find us)..

And so on..

Because of the likelyhood of there actually being millions of advanced species out there...It should also be likely that at least one of them out number us billions to one and because they probably started out a billion years before humans they may be spreading out like a growing bubble (like a colony of ants in the insect world). Colonizing every habitable (or made to be) planet in thier path with nothing in mind but the simple proliferation of thier kind. We are just lucky we're not close.

Plus who's to say any advanced species even have emotions or compasion as maybe this would just limit them and evelution for them could have done away with feelings.
 
They will be friendly, the kind of aliens you can have a beer with.

But then again we will never do great in space alone or against any alien race unless we unite here at earth. All for one, one for all? :3oops:
