I actually had a small group of strangers ask me if I was interested in taking a bus with them to DC for Obama's inaguration. Falling back upon the teachings of my childhood, I declined and did not speak to them any further.

However, I was wondering if there were people from this forum that were planning on going, since its an historic moment and all.

I don't think so... I don't drink Hennessy.

Maybe that one went a little too far.

I'd go if I could just to be able to truthfully say that I went. Since I'm not going I doubt I'll watch it - how interesting could it really be?

Part of me would like to go. But, honestly, it's probably going to suck to be there. I don't want even try to wrap my head around the bathroom situation. I'll watch excitedly in my gas-heated home.

I like Obama....but not enough to set foot in D.C.

I was invited but I have other plans. ;)

HA!

I hate going into DC in NORMAL traffic...

No way in hell am I hitting onto the beltway during this madhouse for a man whose politics I can't stand.

The only thing I WISH I could do was rent out my apartment. People are making BANK on this up here in this region. DC Apartments are going at points for $800 a day (so, half a months rent in a bad apartment -.-).

I heard that it was practically impossible to get tickets.
