Trump lies about choice

We have to consider the possibility he’s senile and just doesn’t know what actually happened anymore. This is just another of a long list of odd mental and physical issues he’s been displaying.

There is no doubt to anyone outside of the remaining Trump cult, that Trump is a very feeble, mentally disturbed man with severe cognitive issues.

If he was your father, you would take his car keys from him.

The guy who said so few untrue things that it's the one non-true thing Obama-haters cite constantly. What you're unknowingly doing is illustrating just how honest he is.

And by the way, it's not even a complete untruth. For the vast majority of Americans, they could keep their doctor. He was called a liar because some plans on the exchanges had differing provider networks, which is exactly how health insurance has always worked for decades.

If he had chosen his words more carefully, he would have said something like "The vast majority of Americans will be able to keep the same or a very similar plan to what they have now, and will be able to keep their doctor."

Regardless of what one thinks of Obama's politics, what kind of an utterly despicable human being would see a moral equivalence between Obama and Trump?

People who need false equivalence arguments like diabetics need insulin.

I know, let's have a contest to see who is the bigger liar: Trump, Biden, Obama, Pelosi, or Tommy Flanagan (Lovitz)?
The winner gets to ask Trump about hydroxychloriquine (sp?)

Trump is literally the biggest liar ever in American national politics. Comparing him as a liar to anyone else in politics would be like comparing a Kenyan that can run a marathon in less than 2 hours and 10 minutes, to a guy that once ran a charity 5k and had to walk the hills.

It is a standard proven propaganda technique. Say it often enough and people will begin to believe it or at least accept it. Obviously people predisposed to accepting the specific propaganda are going to be the most susceptible. People who practice deductive reasoning will be less susceptible - but not immune.

As an example, how many times have we heard that Trump is a billionaire? We have heard it so often probably a majority of Americans believe it or at the very least don't question it. Countless times we've heard it on the radio, on TV, read it in print, and seen it repeated on social media.

Where did the "billionaire" thing come from? All indications are that it came from Donald Trump. Is Trump a billionaire? Probably not, but no one knows for certain.

Hillary Clinton's deplorable comment that she caught so much **** for was an understatement.

Never in American history has an American president given those that serve this country more of a **** you than Donald Trump, but not only that, he lies and tries to take credit about what other president's have done for those that have served this country.

If you ask me, the America hating piece of **** should never get another question that doesn't relate to him rewarding Russia for placing a bounty on U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.

The sheeple believe his lies the first time, and even if he changes the lie this still believe, it is what sheeple do. The rest of us just shake our heads in disgust.

All this obsession with accusing Trump of lying seems like rationalization for nominating Hillary.

The issue of lying is not a good topic for you all.

I notice you didn’t mention the arrogant liberal reporter who was booed at the event for harassing Trump about social distancing.

Harassing? She asked why they were in a crowded room with no masks on. They were also at a Trump Golf Club with a bunch of Trumplicans in the room. Of course they boo'd when she asked a simple question regarding common sense safety. They're idiots. If they weren't they wouldn't be a Trumplican.

I'm shocked Trump doesn't want his base to stay healthy and safe. Dead men don't vote.

He probably doesn’t remember there’s a pandemic raging unchecked through the U.S. He’s having a lot of mental lapses lately (e.g., believing he was president in 2014 when Veterans Choice passed). He’s not well.

The public is reaching a tipping point with narrow-minded self-centered liberal reporters asking questions that have nothing to do with the topic being discussed.

I'm pretty sure they were holding the press conference to discuss an Executive Order that is being signed BECAUSE of a Pandemic that is sweeping the Nation. I think asking why no one is wearing a mask in that room was very relevant. The level of tone deafness is astounding.

It was a male reporter pathetically trying to ask a Gotcha question. Are we talking about the same incident?

The crowd put the liberal reporter in his place. It’s a sign of the times.

Yes, masks are important. But it is insane how liberals latch onto one narrow idea, and build up this idea in their heads that the one narrow idea is the key to life.

"The crowd" was a bunch of Trump Golf Club guests. Not exactly surprising they'd boo, and hardly a sign of the political climate.

Masks are a key to beating the Pandemic that they were there signing an Executive Order BECAUSE of. So it was ridiculously relevant. It baffles me that anyone would think that wasn't an appropriate question.

Yes, same incident. I have no idea why that was typed as She. Fast fingers.

Must see TV, here...;)

Irritating liberal reporters being put in their place

Watching him forget which years he was president (not 2014), which policies he was involved in developing (not Veterans Choice), which issues were solved a decade ago (pre-existing conditions), and sporadically losing control of his legs, hands, and powers of speech, I’m struck by the thought he should be feeding the ducks in some quiet park and not playing president on TV. To spend one’s declining years fumbling around destroying the country is catastrophically tragic on so many levels.

Insane? Your confidence you are any reliable judge of what is, or isn't, seems misplaced, especially considering the distortions memorialized in the official White House transcript linked below, and the unprecedented defense (unhinged) of a POTUS that he was leading a "protest".

You're averaging nearly 40 posts a day. Hillary was the most qualified candidate to ever run. Her republican colleagues in the senate were for her before they were against here. She earned a plurality of nearly 3,000,000 actual votes and, 96 years after women won the right to vote, was the first woman EVER to win the nomination of one of the two major parties.

A major error was walking back her description of some Trump supporters as deplorables. What else would be s more apt description?

Trump greeted his "guests" claiming they would get to meet his tormentors, the members of the White House press corps.

A member of that corps asked him why he and the members of his club, present, were not wearing masks and not social distancing, counter to State of New Jersey pandemic guidelines.

Trump replied that it was a political event and a "protest". Staff then distributed masks. That reporter contributed much more positively to that event than Trump or any of his staff!

Read the transcript, the reporters question and Trump's "this is a protest" and his demonization of that corps were not included because those exchanges occurred 15 minutes before Trump proceeded to lie at least 40 times or make misleading claims.:

It is not "denied", it is a Friday, Aug. 7 transcript of dubious comments on the whitehouse dot gov website:

Hillary fought extreme right all of her life. She earnestly attempted the first modern healthcare reform. Commercial interests threatened by this effort spent mightily to falsely influence the public that this was somehow not in their best interests.

Trump signed a bill to Extend Veterans Choice in 2017

President Signs Bill to Extend Veteran’s Choice Health Care Law > U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE > Defense Department News

What are you all claiming that he lied about?

Sigh....

Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014 - Wikipedia
The Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014 (H.R. 3230; Pub.L. 113–146), also known as the Veterans Choice Act, is a United States public law that is intended to address the ongoing Veterans Health Administration scandal of 2014. The law expanded the number of options veterans have for receiving care and granted the United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs more power to fire senior executives.[1]
.....

Signed into law by President Barack Obama on August 7, 2014

Every reporter on the planet knows how Trump talks by now. When he says he got Veterans Choice passed, he's referring to the bill he signed.

He does have a tendency to say that he's the first President to have done things, this is just the way he talks, no one takes it literally except anal retentive liberal reporters.

So you mean he tends to LIE and we should just all know he is telling lies because thats just what he does....

Glad we agree.
