Is Joe Biden's VP Pick Violating the Civil Rights Act?

Is Joe violating the Civil Rights Act by choosing a VP based on race and sex?

Well your options were so limited that an honest response and reaction was all but impossible. The only option was to give our own vision and no, no civil rights issue and of course he hopes his choice will make him win, but maybe he had 2 people in mind from the beginning. So he was free to honestly say it would be a woman of color. You do know a presidential candidate if free to choose freely?

I wish there was a third option to this poll: this is a stupid poll.

You have to prove that he is solely choosing based on color and race. Which you can't.

But if we take the logic of your implication of this stupid poll....then Trump is also in violation for choosing Ben Cardin.

Instead of belittling the OP over stupid-ass poll selections that no one really cares about anyway because anyone of us can create a post in this thread and clarify our responses, why not tell him (and all of us who are on the edge of our seats) what your poll selections would have been so that we all can benefit from a master poll person?

No - Biden takes the cake for "CREEP" and "CREEPY" because of his hands that wander all over teenage developing breasts. This subject came up in an interview a month or two ago and he simply replied something like "what's wrong with showing a little affection?".


Well if someone has to explain to a nearly 78 year old fool like Biden why his actions are inappropriate, he is much sicker than I thought.

Well, at least give some options that are "honest".

Like I gave, he knew who he was going to pick so he said the truth, a woman of color.

Also normally give the option "other, ................... (please explain) so that all people can honestly participate in a poll.

At least that is my opinion.

:lamo Dead funny, Biden might be from a different generation but his touches are not sexual or meant as an intrusion. We cannot say the same of that Orange Ogre, who walking into teenagers dressing rooms, grabs women by the crotch and loves cheating on his wives. And then I am not talking about his sex with porn stars and having him spanked with his own image. Trump is the creep of all political creeps.

Further a "running mate" is not an employee. So there is no issue at all of any illegal discrimination. Citizen Joe's selection of a running mate is no more a subject of civil or criminal discrimination than his picking someone to go fishing with.

I have a huge problem with a person hiring for a position announcing beforehand that only people of an arbitrary skin color or gender will be considered. The only exceptions would be if the skin color or gender were an integral part of the job.

I don't know if the CRA has an exception for public sector hiring, but if Joe Biden was in the private sector it would be illegal.

Black Females became noteworthy because he had several Black Females on his VERY DIVERSE list and the Media picked up that he had several Black Females being considered. No where did Biden say he would only consider a Black Female, a fact that does not fit your agenda and you continue to ignore.

Why did you not ask that question when Trump picked a predominantly white Cabinet of White Men...and A FEW White Women? Trump's Administration looks as much like something Hitler would have created as he could do.

Joe Biden is Looking at Ensuring Diversity and Gender Equality in the Presidency....and we can be assured his Cabinet will be Diverse.
That's something Right Wing CONFEDERATE AGENDA Conservatives can't even remotely consider doing.

He told Joy Reid directly that he was looking at a list of black females to choose from. He never went so far as to use the word “Only,” but that was the implication for many months.

She's far more accomplished than you can imagine to be.... so I don't think she gives a darn about your assumptions. She has promoted and taught and been an advocate for Diversity and Respect for Working Class people ... throughout her career's.

We can be assured You certainly know much about using the word, "us" when you really mean "for yourself' (me).... its not just a political trick, its a life functional motivation for those who claim themselves "Conservative".
