So where were you all these years after affirmative action came to being?
 
1. I do NOT know the details of the various Civil Rights laws.

2. But promising to choose a lady of color is obviously legal.

a. Maybe it could be interpreted as affirmative action. That is to say, the United States has never had a Vice President who was (a) a woman and (b) a person of color.

3. In any case, the bottom line is clear: Whether or not it is legal is of no importance. It is politically feasible, so that is all that matters. No one would ever challenge his selection on so-called legal grounds. They would be laughed out of court.

Biden doesn't hire his VP. If we have a woman of color as our VP, it will be because the American people decided to vote for that ticket.

But a lot of his friends are white or brown. LOL!!
