Well, the reason you gave me was contradicted in your next post. Your initial explanation was that "as a woman, I find it offensive", but in the next post you said that you are "more than a walking *****". These two arguments contradict each other because one is a derivate of collectivist tribalism whereas the other is one of individualism.

If you know that you are "more than a walking *****", you cannot say that the reason you find Trump's comments distasteful because it offends your gender. If you say that it offends your group identity and claim that you speak for all women, you cannot claim to be "more than a walking *****".

It cannot apply to women for the sake of equality?

If your question is whether women are better warned by men who admit their vulgar natures- as Trump did when he said he was indulging in "locker room talk"-- then yes, Trump is better about that failing than Biden is, who has inconsistent flareups of chauvinism amid his supposed high-minded morals.

Of course I can.

I never said I was speaking for all women. I just happen to be one and I don't appreciate being thought of as nothing but a sex object.

l'm having a lot of trouble trying to follow your line of reasoning, so I won't be engaging in this back and forth any longer.

Actually because this is a political forum, this is what I meant:

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

I never said I was speaking for all women. I just happen to be one and I don't appreciate being thought of as nothing but a sex object.
You were clearly implying that by opening your sentence with "[A]s a woman, I..."

Then the proper way for you to make a case would be to first lay out your own, pesonal values and then show how and why Trump's comment goes against these values. There is absolutely no reason nor legitimacy in presenting a case that starts with "As a woman..." because then you are implying that the only reason you find it offensive is because you happened to be born female and that it does not actually offend You but only your genitalia and internal body-chemistry.

l'm having a lot of trouble trying to follow your line of reasoning, so I won't be engaging in this back and forth any longer.
Trust me when I say it is not me, it is you. :)

Is this supposed to be some kind of personal attack or something?

The Yale Univ. associated psychiatrist, B.X. Lee, is describing Trump. It seems OT.

Your post, informing a woman how she must feel, according to your reasoning, smacks of vindictive, associared as it is with what resembles apologizing for Trump's admitted predatory sexual practices. "We're not in Kansas, anymore."

Polls like this tell you more about the pollster than about the answers.

Let's start a new poll:

Does anyone really care, at this point, what Trump said?

Yes or No only.

I never told anyone how they must feel and I do not like Trump.

No. Not any more. The left could have done more with Trump as a democrat than the right wing as a republican. The right wing does't seem to care about how our Constitutional form of Government is supposed to work.

I don’t think there’s any point to “yes or no only,” since different people can give the same answer but for different reasons.

In my case, the offending quote means nothing to me because a lot of people, male and female, say vulgar things in private but don’t act on them. The Dems’ foolhardy attempt to weaponize this nothing burger contributed heavily to my relatively recent contempt for that party.

To me, it was 4 years ago when this surfaced, over a decade ago when Trump actually said it, no one died, no one got hurt, no one lost their jobs, no marriages were broken up, no one lost their homes, their families, nor anything else that you can possibly think of. Honestly, a small minority of people only cared about it, but even then I don't believe the outrage among a bunch of these people over this matter is real. I've heard worse, I've said worse, and I've read worse. I'm not saying what Trump said was right, but overall, the vast majority of people don't care. These people posting stuff like this are kicking a dead horse. Only reason I posted on this thread is because I wanted to say my peace and move on.

....The stimulus bill that funded Solyndra received no Republican votes in the House and only three in the Senate — including Sen. Arlen Specter, who later switched parties.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 that created the section 1703 loan guarantee program had the support of a majority of Republicans — who controlled both houses of Congress at the time — but not “all” of them. The House passed the conference bill 275-156, and 31 Republicans opposed it. The Senate passed it 74-26, with six Republicans voting no. Sens. Joe Biden, now Obama’s vice president, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama’s Secretary of State, voted against it, as did many other Democrats. Clinton criticized the bill as too generous to the oil industry and attacked Obama for voting for it, as we wrote during the 2008 Democratic primary....

Solyndra received a $535 million U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantee, the first recipient of a loan guarantee under President Barack Obama's economic stimulus program, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
