Short answer: No.
Long answer: With the exception of very close races, elections are usually determined by broad fundamentals (the state of the economy, the incumbent's approval rating, how many terms the incumbent party has held the White House, etc), not the minutiae of who-did-what. Unless Obama himself was implicated in the scandal, he still would've won handily.

The media would've reported that Obama has never met the governor from Illinois and never heard of him. They've never worked on boards together and the governor doesn't even have a church. You're a racist for asking and also a sexist and possibly a few other "ists"...This is another desperate attempt from John McCain to scare people like the GOP alway does during an election...Don't you remember Obama mentioned he is black and doesn't look like the other guys on dollar bills?...It's a vast rightwing conspiracy...

The connection to Obama wouldn't have existed in October since the senate seat wouldn't have been up for auction. Had he been arrested for all his other **** back then, Obama's name would only be mentioned in passing because of the Illinois connection and maybe a little about Rezko.

I am a right winger and I do not see any correlation between Obama and Blagojevich. Last I checked Obama does not get to name his replacement and if he really wanted someone he liked in a position of power then I am sure he has the right to appoint that person to one of the many positions that he has to fill.
