I will, but my wife will not.

Only fools don't get available vaccinations. We can all thank Trump for speeding up the process for clearing these drugs. We sure didn't see this type of leadership with the Sars epidemic when Obama was in charge.

You're right Obama was an actual leader.

And...

[h=3]SARS [/h]The severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic, which affected 26 countries and led to over 8,000 cases in 2003 (here), did not coincide with the years of Obama’s presidency (2009-2017).

Losing your sense of smell is a temporary side effect of having the virus.

That sucked, I have a very sensitive sense of smell, it is back though, I opened the fridge today and smelled that something, somewhere in there was off..felt good.

I've already had Covid, and hell yes I will get the vaccine.

Because, I live in the real world of science, not the incredibly stupid world of conspiracy theorist losers.

By the way, hello fellow traveler, I am lucky to even be alive. The entire family survived COVID, but I almost didn't make it.

Understand you wont be able to shop or work without the "Voluntary" Vaccination.

Vaccines are not, nor should they ever be, mandatory.

One of the most hilarious "health bloggers" that ever lived.

"The air they put in airplanes isn't even real air. It's more than half nitrogen."

Then there is little to lose, certainly.

For some people, sense of smell takes MONTHS to return, for a few lucky ones, a few weeks.
For me, I was unable to even smell BLEACH or 200 proof ethanol, or fire.
That was the third week of March, when I began to slowly recover.
Now here we are in the third week of July, and I can barely smell the roses I gave my wife, but I can smell bleach and ethanol and something burning, but peanut butter and coffee grounds barely register.
I can probably tell it is coffee when blindfolded but I am not quite so sure if I would know the smell of peanut butter.

But my O2 level is back to 97 or 98 from a low in the mid-70's/upper 80% and I can breathe...most of the time.

Can't shop or work at many major retailors without mask. Vaccination is logical progression.
Snort. Two worthless posts in one thread.

A good part of the joy of my life is being able to taste the magnificent dishes my wife makes along with other members of my family. But if I had to give up the ability to distinguish the taste of French roasted chicken from packing foam peanuts for several months or perhaps longer in order to ensure that I won't be infected or infect members of my family, I'll give up one of the primary joys of life.

Our experience wasn't that bad, we had a few bad days, and we have lingering effects. But, monsoon weather hit us today, and we both went out for an 8 mile bike ride around 5 pm when it was only 98 degrees. It hit my mate a bit more than me, but I have an electric bike with pedal assist, so I could have gone many more miles :).

What got me was that I could barely smell Acetone, nail polish remover. Usually, if it is used anywhere in the house, I can smell it for about 48 hours, but I couldn't smell it. I made a thing of eggs, cheese and turkey sausage and it had no flavor, despite me putting in generous amounts of tabasco and habanaro sauce. That freaked me out. But, I could eat dark chocolate with raspberries and roll it around my tongue and taste it. My blood sugar spiked for a few weeks, even with meds, but now it is really kicking ass...even after I eat a bagel!

When I tested, my O2 was at 97 and my mate's was near there, never had any coughing or sore throat issues, but I did have a weird upper throat thing for a few days on end after a few weeks, and some odd dreams and such. We still have bouts of fatigue, mine hits me when I work at home, but I can take 30 minute naps. We are very thankful that we didn't have chest issues, I had a very nasty upper respiratory thing for about 8 weeks in January-Feb that took a z-pack and steroids to quash.

Yes you live in the world where muslim extremist don't crash airliners into skyscrapers and military complex buildings.

WTF does that have to do with vaccines?

Conspiracy theorists always push so much garbage and you never ever ever prove any of it.

That is why the normal world regards conspiracy theorists as the tiny radical fringe.

BOO!

I have pulmonary fibrosis (PF) at a younger age than the normal 70-80-year-olds get it and need lung transplants.

PF is basically scarring of the lungs; source unknown, except in my case, it started as interstitial fibrosis, meaning that I was exposed to something caustic. I used to work for the giant petrochemical/other company - E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co., Inc., and was likely exposed there.

I need lung transplants; otherwise I'll have ~2-5 years left.

The lung scars end up joining together making a wall of scars of sorts which prevents the O2 --> CO2 conversion to occur smoothly as air cannot pass through the scar wall.

If I do get COVID-19, I doubt that I'd pull through, so YES, I would very likely get the vaccine. I'll need to talk it over with the doctors at the university lung hospital that I see.

Isn't that the guy who coined the phrase "lead from behind"?

Here educate yourself. Ignorance is a terrible thing, even for a lemming.

Yes you live in the world where muslim extremist don't crash airliners into skyscrapers and military complex buildings.

Crossing COVID vaccines and islamist terrorists takes real talent, perhaps talent that has yet to be discovered.
Clearly you don't make the cut, so you're just another knee-jerk reactionary who just strings together A=A=A=A,
therefore A shall always equal A and if you disagree you're an America hating commie.

You didn't even try to color inside the lines.

I don't know about where you live, but I've never had to produce vaccination records at any store. Or any job I've had.0

Welcome to post covid America. You can always move if you don't like it.

I have heard no such thing. If a vaccine becomes available and proves to be safe, hell yes.

That is the rub and that won't be known for years to come.

I honestly appreciate all who take part in poll. Just be honest.

Honestly, I will take the vaccine as I am in the high risk age group. However I do not believe in any nutty "Your papers please" conspiracy theories.
