Leftists seem to want to attack George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, just to name a few. Our declaration of Independence itself states that all men are created equal but women were apparently left out (they aren't men) and couldn't even vote and of course blacks were just property at the time. Is it time to put the United States of America in the past and form a new country where men, women, transgenders, and minorities are all created equal? Do we need a new Declaration of Independence, or, is the US maturing on it's own and the past is only represented in the history books?

I chose 'other.' Break the USA up into at least 5 separate countries. This country is far too big and tries to represent far too many different groups.
 
I am in agreement. I am in favor of overthrowing Washington and installing a new regime. It will be called The Flavor Empire!

Heterosexuality is only allowed past 8PM, and you have to change your gender at least once to get permanent citizenship.

It's not worthless when I install my regime. You can be part of my ruling council if you want. You'd still have to swear fealty to me, but hey, you get lands and titles.
 
I'd actually enjoy watching the Republicans and Libertarians who want no government to start a new country and see how that works out for them.
See how they get on with zero public spending on infrastructure, education or healthcare. The private sector will save them.

Screw that, I'm making my own country and it will crush yours in no time flat. It's the Kingdom of Science. Scientists, Mathematicians, and Engineers will have titles of nobility. Business and psychology majors will become serfs in the Science Mines. We will push the bleeding edge of science and technology, and none shall ever oppose us. We'll make regular raids into other countries and steal their scientists and engineers. All will tremble before the industrial and military might of the Kingdom of Science!

You're forgetting something here. 'Starting a new country' would mean that the hundreds of thousands of men and women that gave up their lives to protect this democracy, preserve this Union and fought for our freedoms will all have died for absolutely nothing. Just wipe the slate clean and start all over again -- only this time with men that have unlimited wealth, men with evil intent and men that only want to control, to create their own perfect Shangri-La?

This idea would be akin to nonchalantly waving 'bye-bye' in mockery to all those brave people who left wives, children, friends and extended families and spilled their blood on the ground to dying in a rice paddy field or on a Pacific Island.

I have news for you. There are no more men like Jefferson, Franklin and Adams because you know why? The decency of men was lost to greed long, long ago. The voices of any men or women out there with integrity and love of country are quickly smothered and silence by the men that hold the power of the purse.

And while we are at it break up all those European countries as well. France is still oppressing Brittany, Corsica, and Occitania. Likewise with England controlling Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and of course their colonial control over the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar. Germany can likewise be carved up into a whole bunch of different states. Bring back the principalities! The same goes for Italy as well. And why should China or Russia be left out on the fun?

Your country will be too busy swapping genders to develop any offense or defense against the Kingdom of Science. But we can alleviate you of all your earthly concerns if necessary by converting your entire population into gender-neutral dust.

Actually, you have that entirely wrong. First, the right is fine with having a federal government that doesn't overreach. Second, the state governments would pick up many of the things that the federal government currently does. We realize that both the federal government and the state governments need to spend money on infrastructure, education or healthcare, as well as some other things. We also realize that the government should live within it's means, which doesn't mean continually spending money and raising taxes to finance runaway spending.

Now, you know darn well that you don't really want to do that. This is one reason why it is hard to have a serious discussion with you extremists when you can't even tell the truth in the first place. But, I'm sure you're glad that the Supreme Court gave half of Oklahoma to the Indians, unless of course you live in Oklahoma.
