Everyone knows the President's tax returns - now ordered released by the Supreme Court - will be leaked and become public information. Democrats of course are cheering this defeat of Trump and capitalism. No business person dare run for president again - and probably any other political office - the greatest victory for socialists and fascists in US history. However, Democrats claim there is no harm. Let's find out if they really believe that.

I'm not president, nor would I be.

Hasn't every previous presidential candidate posted their tax returns voluntarily?

Doesn't matter. Any other worthless comments? Wait, I know the answer to that.

So what? That is completely irrelevant. The question is does doing so create harm and/or danger to the person - and not whether or not you hate Trump and business officials.

I will as soon as I am president and my audit is over ;)

I personally have zero interest in seeing anybody's tax returns. At this point, I would be thrilled if the IRS just got off its arse and mailed me my refund check that was filed March 1 and still hasn't come.

When you get it, will you post a picture of the check on the forum? Thanks.

If there was anything bad, they would have been leaked already! I don't think anyone would want their tax returns public knowledge, unless they are a narc..oops

LOL. Who mails in their tax return? There is something called e-file.

If I was the president and I had nothing to hide I would make my finances public. It would be about establishing trust. I would want the public to have a complete view of what I'm about.

I am willing to bet the democrats leak the information. Just like Hillary they are not responsible enough to be given confidential paperwork. It will not be intentional just out of ignorance.

Almost every president since 1972 has released their taxes. So Joko's 'concern' is completely baseless. His only real concern is defending Dear Leader.

Why should the president be required to disclose his tax returns to anyone other than the IRS?

My answer to the question is: Not unless I have to.
It is no wonder why Trump has tried every which way to keep his returns secret.
The pundits will have endless fodder for their anti-Trump articles are his returns are freely available.
Who would want that to happen?

As an honest politician, you would never make it in real life.
But you already knew that.

Me. I have a commercial loan that I periodically have to provide my personal income taxes for and the lender will not accept e-file transcripts so I have to do a traditional paper return to satisfy their arses

Then why did he promise they would be released? Was he *gasp* lying!?

Joe Biden has provided 23 years of his tax returns, TWENTY-THREE YEARS.

I believe that ANY publicly elected person holding office should absolutely be compelled to turn over their tax return before elections.

2) Are you willing to post your current and past tax returns on the Internet?

1) Complete nonsense.

2) Sure, if I was a candidate for office I'd post my tax returns.

BUcky,
you wrote: "Is it just me or is it getting crazier out there?”

Just look at all of the police departments in major cities conceding to being defunded or reallocated under the threat of further protests by the BLM.
If that is not crazy, in the face of rising crime in the streets, I don't know what it.

Apologies to joko who wants everyone to opine on Trump's tax returns. How boring.

The importance of the tax returns of some random dude on the internet =/= the leader of the free world's financials. However, to play along, if i were president (no thanks,) I would release my financial information.
