Anti-Semitism/Racism is bad no matter where it comes from. Stephen Jackson should be ashamed of himself to further downplay that as if it's "speaking the truth".

In principle, yes. But Democrats rarely suffer any consequences for their bigoted remarks. Liberals love Jews, and people of color, as long as they know their place and don't dare to step out of line.

Does one idiotic white person making racist remarks implicate all white people?

One idiotic white person making a racist remark does not represent a race healing movement...

But I am sure that you knew that your analogy failed, right? ;)

Uh, no, actually. My analogy is right on point. Trying to tie all people to one person's lack of judgment is exactly what the right-wing nuts in this forum are currently doing. Whenever some asshole vandalizes a statue they're "automatically part of the BLM movement". Pretty disappointing you're guilty of the same behavior.

I am not doing this. He is not just "some guy"... Stephan Jackson is a leader in Black Lives Matters. That is why this is relevant.

"Stephen Jackson lost a friend. It’s why he’s now leading a movement."

What is disappointing is that you are trying to malign my character instead of trying to learn what the facts are or why I am asking a question.

But you have a habit of trying to insult me for very little reason so I don't count on you owning up to your mistake at all...

There's an anti Semite in the boy scouts. Does that ruin the boy scouts?

No.

Do BLM advocates, especially a black person, hurt BLM by also coming out with antisemitic remarks?

Stephen Jackson defends DeSean Jackson'''s anti-Semitic post with Jewish stereotypes - Insider

"Stephen Jackson spreading this insanely bigoted, anti-Semitic conspiracy **** is such a gift to the awful people who despise the legitimate causes he fights for."

I voted no... Despite the unacceptable nature of the comments made, they will not do anything to alter the statistical evidence that black folks suffer violence at the hands of the police at a disproportionate rate compared to white folks.

Black folks suffer violence at the hands of the black folks at a disproportionate rate compared to white folks too...

So? I mean, that's terrible, and there's a whole established understanding of what lead to what there, and certainly plenty of effort to address that, but what does it have to do with cops?

This topic is about Black Lives Matters... not cops. ;)

Only if you are a republican. Democrats are just as bad but they have no consequences for their actions most of the time.

What a stupid post.

Hrrm...how do you discuss BLM without discussing cops, though?

The topic is about Stephan Jackson's comments. They have nothing to do with cops. He is saying racism against black people is wrong. We all agree on that. The issue/topic is that he is then turning around and being racist against Jews.

With deflection?

By understanding the actual argument...

Oh...you're actually being serious today? Ok...sorry, let me switch to my deal with Bod seriously face... ;)

Your question, in the OP, was:

Do BLM advocates, especially a black person, hurt BLM by also coming out with antisemitic remarks?

My answer was no, because the stupid remarks of a couple people don't trump the fact that cops use violence disproportionately against black people. People don't support BLM because of their perfect messaging. People support BLM because of the statistics that justify BLM's existence to begin with.

There...do you understand my actual argument now?

PS: I love it when you get salty.

When one white person makes a racist comment, does that reflect badly on every white person or just that white person? The answer to that question is equivalent to the answer to yours.
