How far would you participate in covid-19 tracking?

MULTIPLE CHOICE PUBLIC POLL. Click all that apply.

Where I am at, nearly everyone's cell phone was remotely loaded with a Google tracking app software. It was not optional, not announced and can not be removed. However, it states to activate it you have to click to activate and that you read the huge tiny print terms that no one ever reads.

What you then agreed to is waiving your HEPA privacy rights, that the government may continuously track you and keep record of everywhere you went, and then warn you if you are or were near anyone with covid-19 or warn everyone about you.

Bill Gates wants everyone required to have such tracking software in a cell phone they are required to carry - and/or have a chip put under their skin. This would record whether or not you have been tested (with testing required) and whether you have been vaccinated, which will be required.

Violating any order would be a criminal offense and for testing and vaccinations the person would be forcibly tested and injected the vaccination if they fail to or refuse to have the testing, vaccination, to carry the phone and/or refuse being chipped.

The topic is not if what I posted accurate, but what of it would you allow/agree to if such requirements are made law? Do you think any of this should be made law? Or rather, summarily ordered by your mayor or the governor?

I would not agree to any invasions of my personal privacy.

I still have an old Verizon Wireless flip-type cellphone. It has no special tracking devices (like GPS chips), but like any cellphone it does "ping" cell-towers. So like anyone else my movements, when I carry the phone, are tracked.

I simply leave the phone at home for the most part; and all my friends, acquaintances, and even employer know this.

I would NEVER allow the government to implant anything in my body, much less a tracking device.

By the way, I think you meant HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) rights. ;)
 
If the COVID deniers refuse to do things as simple as wearing masks and socially distancing, we might have to do contact tracing. Sucks, but those people have taken away some of our options for fighting this pandemic. :shrug:

My typo. Thanks for noticing.

I carry either a cheap flip phone (not in anyone's name) not turning GPS or a highly secured phone that does not have GPS - although calls could be detected off cell phone towers if they knew the number they were watching for.

The business is extremely of stuff of interest to the DHS. Even our business computers are old Motorola military units with encryption software that pre-dates the requirement that the government be provided a backdoor key. If the FBI conceded no search warrant could ever get thru such computer protection and so we worked out an alternative (twice). They actually thought we'd just turn over our computers and said every other company does. Then again, we also told them they can't even come in the building - and regulations were on our side.

I make the decisions about myself because I live the consequences. We endlessly teach our children the fact of life that you live the consequences of what you do. If you do what other people tell you to do - it is you, not they, who bear the consequences. It is already in federal law that if a vaccination harms or kills you there is nothing you can do about it - as example. The same for anyway access to your phone or your info you allow made public harms you. You bear the consequences, not the governor, mayor or agency that made the decision.
 
What is interesting is of the trillions and trillions spent - and trillions upon trillions lost - exactly NOTHING has been done to deal with pandemics. Seems rather clear to me they WANT diseases killing off people or more likely just don't give a damn and it all is just politics, power and greed.
 
Erm, I'm in a bit of a bind here as I have no problem with being traced yet I don't own a mobile phone. It's not that I can't afford one I just don't want one because I'm a grumpy bastard and unsociable.
My last phone was a flip phone about 10 years ago.
If you want to get hold of me when I'm out then tough luck as it isn't going to happen.
I do mostly carry my Kindle Oasis with me but that's not much help.

Almost all the choices are equally extreme.

That leads me to believe you aren't looking for serious answers or don't understand the nuances of the issue. Maybe both?

I guess I’m one of those people that understand that:
“The internet means the end of forgetting”
And
“You are completely anonymous”.
And
“I’m from the government and you can trust me.”
And
“Yeah, we know it says that, but we would never do that.”

They are not extreme. Bill Gates and many, many others have been calling for 300,000 or more people to work as trackers, in fact that Google App was put on nearly every cell phone here, and what I wrote about has been discussed frequently on TV by "the experts."

Although it is now claimed there are many as 40 different strains of covid-19, if there is a vaccination declared for even 1 of the 40, every school child will be required to have it and I predict it will become required by law - or at least many restrictions on people who won't do it.
 
Im well aware that im being tracked already and I appriciate the value in it. I aslo adamently oppose a law that requires me to allow it. As long as it is voluntary I have no objection to it.
