Not really, I also bought a new house last August but entered a lease back arrangement with the build so they use it as a show home until they sell a few more lots in the community. Last year I expected we would get the house this summer. That would allow us to enjoy the lake in the community ( house backs on to the lake but the beach is on the other side of the lake). Given the market conditions I doubt we will get the house until December or Jan now.

So we will lose a summer of having a house on a lake because of Covid 19. The builder is at least paying rent for the use of the house in the meantime. But that just covers the mortgage and taxes

When I became sick at the beginning of this, I did what DOES work. I fully self quarantined from everyone either to my office or the motel room - that I stayed at for a month and then had a do-not clean instruction for the room - paying for it for another week after leaving it. In that period any virus would die. I was not near anyone for that month. I have seen been tested for covid-19 Sars/covid-2 and did not have it.

Either there is a quarantine or there is not. Trash masks and standing 6 feet from each other - packing into WalMart and big box stores? Only foolish gullible people believe that accomplishes anything positive. Virus float in the air for days. The crappy homemade and dust masks are like screen door material. They become virus and bacteria spreaders and harm (or kill) the wearer.

I guess everyone forgot every expert declaring for a week that masks are less than worthless, but harmful. It was only when the political agenda of blame-Trump for covid-19 deaths that suddenly to get on TV the identical experts were saying exactly the opposite. If not, they wouldn't get paid to be on TV again. TV is 100% propaganda of the super rich making trillions of their 24/7 bio-terrorism campaign.

You do not hear or read "the experts." You are only allowed to hear and read what the billionaires who own the TV station and newspaper, and their employees allow to be said on TV and printed in the newspaper. That's how propaganda works. You hear and read only what the richest people on earth allow you to.

Since it is nothing to them, they demand totalitarian orders that tens of millions of people are thrown into immediate poverty. People who spent their lives building a business are summarily ordered into ruin. That millions of families are made homeless, lose their vehicles, furniture, everything. That they should starve to death. Have no money for prescription drugs. Give up everything - all so they can go outside feeling safe.

They wrap this in the totally self-serving and false slogan "Money is less important than life" since they lose no money. They actually are saying "My life is everything and every else's life is nothing."

Your subconscious is vastly smarter than your conscious submission to propagandists on television. Of people I see wearing masks, over half keep it below their nose and others have the exhale vent on the front - both making wearing the mask truly absurd. That is because they are smart enough to at least somewhat listen to their subconscious immune system screaming at you that you need more dry air with more oxygen - and need to stop rebreathing pathogens and co2 you are exhaling.

Since it has been declared it doesn't matter what mask a person wears, would you be happy if I were to cut out an old section of fish netting and use that for a mask? That'd protect everyone according to you, wouldn't it?

The solution to your concern is simple. You stay home. Your risk is eliminated. Nor will you infect anyone. I would infect no one who stays home either. Instead, you want to control me and put me at risk for your benefit.

You don't poise a risk of a mental distraction - particularly with your brain getting 1/3rd less oxygen due to the mask - leading you to broadside a mini van full of children too. Fortunately we can afford doing so and my old 1980s twin turbo diesel ex-drug running custom Cigarette boat can made that distance since it was designed to do so at about 50 mph for a thousand miles. Accordingly, there would be no problem with banning flying. From Gulf waterfront home to Caribbean waterfront home. Not that fast for a Cigarette, but those shorter gasoline versions run out of fuel REAL quick and were only used for short dashes from Cuba to Miami. My boat was designed to go non-stop to Columbia and the Northern coast of Mexico (know that by the old navigation chips). Trinidad looks pretty good as a possibility. A civilized backwater party country.
