We have a son now that is serving this country and could be put into harm's way someday. Only a small percentage of Americans serve our country in the military. Those that do need a president that actually fights for them. This is the first time in history they have not had that. You can love this country and care about those serving it, or you can vote for Donald Trump come November, but you can't do both.

May the Good Lord protect your son and our other military professionals. Trump could care less since none of our service personnel are of his family. It is shameful!

What has this country done to you to make you hate it so much? I am serious when I ask that. We have a president that is told that Russia is paying bounties for the death of U.S. servicemen. That president, Trump, has done nothing. Worse than that. He is trying to get Russia into the G8. He is talking about pulling us out of NATO, a wet dream for Russia. So we have a president that is doing the bidding of a country that is paying bounties on American serviceman's heads.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Democratic conversion camp didn't work. In the meantime, this thread isn't about me and my comment to the poster is precisely right. You do not protect our troops by sending into pointless wars. That was how our troops ended up in the place that may or may not have gotten bounties put on their head in the first place. We had ZERO interest in getting into Syria but Mr. Hope and Change thought he could magically change the Middle East to earn the peace prize he never deserved to begin with.

Trump is a malignant narcissist and sociopath that only cares about himself. He doesn't care about you, me, or even his supporters other than he wants them to vote for him and their adoration. He doesn't genuinely care about those that serve our country. He doesn't care about our country. He is so incapable of empathy, genuine love, and compassion, that the emotions are inconceivable for him. He doesn't even believe they are real. He thinks those that express them are faking it.

I am not the one who thinks that people should be sent to war for some pointless partisan reason. Of course if Trump actually threatened to go to war with Russia as you big bad ass patriots claim to want, you would lose your every loving **** like you did when he attacked Iran. The approval or disapproval of the ilks of you means nothing.

No one is saying Trump should go to full on war with Russia. So in addition to conducting yourself in an utterly disgraceful manner, you are arguing a strawman. Why not sanctions? Why would he still be doing Russia's bidding and talking about pulling out of NATO? Why would he be trying to get Russia back in the G8? You should be ashamed of yourself.

There were bounties on all our heads when we were in the sandbox. Hell they were literally taking heads for a time. I carried a K-Bar I wasn't allowed to have, technically, to keep from being taken alive. I didnt want my head sawed off while I was conscious. I just over there last in 06. Did we end up becoming a bunch dumbass's between now and then. Come to think of it we put bounties on the SOB's we were fighting. I got a set of playing cards with the our Iraqi most wanted pictures on them.

Where were they when Obama gave billions to the worlds biggest supporter of terrorism? His secretary of state even stated he knew some of that money would be used to kill Americans.

Where were they when Trump took out a man who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American service men? Where were they when Trump took out Putin's good friend Soleimani?

Where were they when Obama stood down the military while Americans died in Benghazi?
